Re: Schedule updates
I am disappointed that SLB didn’t beat me to this one, but we know (per slcagg in another thread) we will not be playing South Dakota State on December 11 and Santa Clara on November 16. Additionally, there will be a date to be determined that we won’t be playing Washington and a date to be determin...

Re: Schedule updates
No additional updates on the schedule The spring recruiting and getting a full roster is close to being done, so we should expect a flurry of schedule updates soon. There is nothing more productive than an update saying there are no updates. Keep up the good work! In the spirit of productivity, I a...

Nemi is the real measuring stick, but Great was pretty great also. I wish Nemi could've faced Edey. Older Nemi really figured out how to not foul as much, use his hands vertically Wouldn't have mattered, they'd still called fouls on Nemie. Or they would constantly call him out of bounds. :stirpot:

So you don’t like it when players transfer to USU after playing somewhere else that was their first choice. You don’t like Ian, Great, Darius, etc.?EngineeringAggie wrote: ↑May 7th, 2024, 7:17 pmA little concerning that his first choice was always byu… I’ve never been a fan of being somebody’s second choice…

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
Sincere question here: why in the hell should he schedule Utah State? Primarily because that is what college sports should be about. Play games that are interesting to the fans. However, an equally important reason is for him to prove to everyone that he has testicles. I won't believe he does until...

A 10 man rotation will help us when it comes to tournaments. You could tell some of our guys were gassed as tournaments went on. That was why I was pounding table for more minutes for the backups. I hope your were pounding the top of the table with your fists. If not, please don't provide anymore d...

I'm posting for a friend. What is your prediction for each of our players 30 minute stats heading into conference play? If you think a player is going to play 29.2 minutes per game, please don’t be lazy and say that is close enough to 30 minutes. I need you to actually calculate the 30 minutes stat...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
What I found fascinating about this entire discussion is that even though we are returning practically every key contributor from a top 25 team that won an NCAA tournament game despite losing our coach, everyone seems to assume that any player at USU who has a decent season is automatically going t...

I have 22 reasons to believe your knowledge on the topic. When it comes to accuracy 22 is right about ((22^-1 /5 + .21) (100))% of the time. Yeah there w...

If he misses the shot most of the time, is that really valuable? I mean, all of us can create our own shots too if there is no expectation of making it go through the hoop.

I somehow hate the current era of Aggie football far more than I hated any of the Brent Guy years. While the 2007 season ended with us only getting two meager wins, at least we were able to look forward to keeping the guys who contributed to one or both of those wins for the remainder of their coll...

Yes it could be. The hope, whether realistic or not, would be that Wynott would be here for his collegiate career. There is a ton of unknown like with any recruit but the hope for Wynott is that he can become an Aggie legend the likes of Sam Merrill. So a kid who originally committed to us, but is ...

I don't get all the love for Dixon. I do know they did just have their first offseason workout today under Calhoun. It went well and the players seem to like him. In BSU's case with Degenhart, Agbo, and Stanley on their last year, they might feel their window is too small to wait on Roddy to get better. Balls to the wall approach. RA3 has the Shulga age deal where he is basically one year younger than class year, so it is best to wait and see with players like that. Love this strategy! Always better to wait and hope that things work out than to go after a proven performer. I hope you become our head recruiter going forward!
