Re: Visitors this weekend?
My sources say they saw Coach Calhoun at Hermes this morning with some unknown players. Were there two of them? If it's two, I know who they are. I have 22 reasons to believe your knowledge on the topic. When it comes to accuracy 22 is right about ((22^-1 /5 + .21) (100))% of the time. Yeah there w...

Re: Rahsul Faison
based on USU's history in football being a .500 football coach at USU is not bad. Not trying to insinuate anyone's age here, but I've noticed this sentiment gets thrown around a lot by a certain generation of Aggie fans. I think it's the wrong mentality and this mindset likely contributed to the de...

I don't disagree that she has a lot on her plate, but she is the CEO of a multimillion dollar dept. Have a minion call and say something, anything, we can't afford to alienate any Salt Lake media. Period. We struggle for press as is, blowing it two days in a row is NOT a good look. This. There is a...

Re: Let Me Set the Record Straight
Something somewhere along the line with Tod Kowalczyk changed. I spoke with FOUR non-USU, unrelated sources who were all SURE it was going to be Tod Kowalczyk. Coaches from other schools talk, athletic department people from other schools talk, agents talk, and people talk. I spent nearly 2 days wo...

I’m really surprised after the season we just had that we can’t find a better group of candidates. None of these guys are very appealing. Well the rumor is most the players are leaving. Would YOU want to take the job with no players and the fans expectations that you replicate what Danny did in the...

Not shocked about anyone leaving except Mason. Seems really strange he doesn't want to stay local after the year he had. This would be his team next year. $$$ Can we match what Washington offers if Sprinkle wants him. If not what other offers will he get. Sometimes I think we delude ourselves and s...

Re: Keeping Our Guys
Curious question is if Jackson Grant goes back to Washington with Sprinkle? (Am I remembering right that he transferred from there last year)? I actually don’t think he’ll go there, but it would be pretty funny if he went back. Hoping we can keep Mason, Johnson, Templin, and a few other guys. Sound...

Yeah this is pretty good perspective. Last April I thought our team would win about 10 games, so to even be in the second round of the tournament surpassed my wildest expectations.

Re: 8 on 5 is tough!
Honestly I was initially frustrated at the refs, but our offense was really really bad there while they went on a 16-0 run. Refs have missed a few calls but they aren’t the reason we are down big, hoping for a better second half. This is true but also half our team was in the bench during that run ...

Re: Most points they’ve scored all season
Well, I only watched half of the game. I saw on e blitz. I knew we wouldn’t stop a third and long all game. Pathetic. What’s crazy is I went back to the play by play, and I think every 3rd down that was 3rd and 9+ yards get converted on (I’m including when they fumbled as the receiver caught it pas...

Are these recruiting wins due to us having NIL money this year? Or are we doing this without NIL money? I think it's more about playing opportunity. George REALLY wants to play with Bo. This feels like a huge win to get George! Also I feel like more and more the team has a very positive culture tha...

Sounds like we played well tonight and a lot of guys were impressing. I wasn’t able to watch or listen, but wanted to check if there will be an available box score somewhere? Re: Developmental program?
I have always understood that to mean that programs like ours don't always get the blue-chip, ready-for-action recruits that bigger, richer programs get. So we bring in solid recruits and develop them physically and mentally to compete in D1 football. I think this is exactly right. We aren't going ...

It is unknowable yet, but if USU plays a lot of guys with semi equal minutes that would be like SDSU. Other than that I am not seeing the comparisons. I agree it’s not unique to this year and has become quite an unfortunate tradition. I’ve also wondered the same thing about why it continues to happen. What I wonder is if the other team scripts their first few offensive possessions and executed really good on those plays, but once they start having...

Can't let them sneak in those rare, but sometimes deadly passes. I’m guessing a run to the left for a short 3 yard gain. A bit conservative but a solid play hopefully.

Great interview, that got me pretty fired up. It is surprising to me that we wouldn't bring candidates, especially for something as important as AD, up to Cache Valley before hiring them. Maybe I'm totally off base here, but it seems like you'd want to get them on campus and show what things are re...

I hope we don't get someone who has been fired from previous job, someone making a big jump (Grand Canyon to USU for example), someone from back east who doesn't understand or want to be in the west, anyone from SDSU after their debacle with the MW, or someone with a title of Deputy Athletic Direct...

4- Osobor, Templin, Burris if needed 5- Sahko, Johnson, Grant Dang that’s a ton of potential and flexibility in the front court. Compared to: Funk, Dorius, and Akin splitting 80 min a night. It’s been been stated that Johnson will play more 4 than 5. I think Jackson Grant can play the 4 as well. Sa...

In the MWCT championship game, SDS played 9 players - Mensah with the fewest minutes (16) and Butler with the most (30). USU had 4 players with 30 or more. Dutcher specifically mentioned in an in-game interview that depth was a big advantage to look to exploit. I would love those kind of minutes on...
