Feel bad for the softball and women's track teams. It's a long article, worth a read, and may raise your blood pressure a bit.

I just found some updates. “He’s out of the locker room. No ice and no crutches.” https://twitter.com/hawkeyes_sports/status/1690436803478634496 “McNamara is back on the field. No jersey or helmet. Iowa QB Cade McNamara Injured During Practice

They don’t know the extent, waiting for more reports. “ Well, that's no good. After Cade McNamara scrambled he fell kind of weird with his right knee. He took himself out, then walked off the field and into the tunnel with Iowa's training staff.” https://twitter.com/ScottDochterman/status/1690428558...

Craig Thompson Says UofU Tipped Off MWC About USU, BYU WAC Conference

Interesting article (based on an article from the Atlantic about an interview with Craig Thompson) about how UofU tipped off MWC that USU and BYU were working with ESPN and the WAC to try to get that conference going. https://www.vanquishthefoe.com/2023/2/13/23598029/in-retirement-craig-thompson-rev...

First. Yep, USU wins it all, from a 10 seed. Wow, that would be a rush. I’d like to know how his sim system calculates games. Some pretty funny comments as well. Henri Colombi is the starting QB at Marshall and helped Marshall beat Notre Dame today. Jason Shelley is the starting QB at Missouri St (ranked 5th in FCS polls, head coach is Bobby Petrino) beat UT Martin (ranked 14th and beat Missouri St in the FCS playoffs last year), Shelley threw for 297 yards ...

Beating Washington St and Oregon St in the same season is great. 2 wins against power-5 opponents. Have we ever had a season before this one with two power-5 wins? All-in-all, a great season.

Re: Basket ball in a mucked up year

I like the bubble concept if there isn't a full season. And maybe it wouldn't be full conference play, but something like the NHL is doing right now with an extended conference championships with a round-robin to figure out seeding and then into the actual knock-out tournament. The good news is that...

NCAA FB Video Game Still Unlikely Even If Players Allowed Pay for Likeness

NCAA leaders say group licenses needed for video games would be unlikely. I've been hoping for a new version of NCAA FB to come out, now I have to keep my PS3 running so I can keep playing on it. Maybe one day they can get it all figured out. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2020/0...

I tried to find it but couldn't, I think I remember a story of a college athlete who had a YouTube channel but got punished because he earned money from the advertising on his channel.
