Re: Clemson let the nation down
I think Ohio State probably was the best team left out of the playoff, but they lost head to head against Oklahoma and didn't show up against Iowa (Iowa St?). Clemson probably wishes Ohio State would've made it in over Alabama, but it's hard to argue that Alabama isn't the best team in the country ...

Re: As hard as it can be to be an Aggie at times
As a Georgia resident, this joke expresses the mood as well as any I've heard: "When I die, I want a Falcon, a Bulldog, a Brave and a Hawk to be my pallbearers... so they can let me down one last time." Sports fans in Georgia are very guarded in the way they cheer for their sports teams, not unlike ...

I'm not sure I understand this comment correctly. I'm showing 4th best in the MW this year (2018 class). I agree, however, 8 3* recruits is very good!

McElwain is weird. He may have been shown the door prematurely based on his odd demeanor. Oh, and he is just an average coach.

The dominoes are starting to tumble in the coaching world. There are so many coaching positions opening up at historically good programs there's no telling how far the effects will be felt. I think the emphasis should be on passing, moving without the ball, and taking good shots. If that results in 45 three point attempts in a game or 25 in a game, it doesn't matter. Getting kids to understand the three concepts of passing, moving without the ball, and taking good shots isn't an easy t...

Unpopular opinion: No coach deserves to make 11 F-ING MILLION a year. Do student fees at these schools help pay for these exorbitant salaries and the absurdly expensive facilities these upper-tier schools have? Three of our remaining four games are statistically better than us according to your analysis. AF looks to be essentially a tossup. Too bad we let WYO slip away.

For sure, Mayfield should be penalized for having a defense which allowed 38 points on scoring drives of 11 plays 67 yards, 10-75, 4-54 (end of half FG), 7-94, 2-73, and 9-75 yards - while he threw for 306 yards 73% completed passes, 2 TDs no INT's, a QBR (whatever the hell that is) of 91.8, AND ru...

I'm wondering if the "it's time for Wells to go" crowd would change their tune if we weren't struggling offensively the way we are? Would it be a different conversation if we were losing 42-45 point shootouts? I'm not a Coach Wells apologist, I'm an Aggie football realist. It's crazy to think that ...

Re: Gary Andersen parts ways with Oregon State
I question why Gary didn't bring better coordinators in to OSU. Does he lack the connections? Was it a lack of funds? Did few want to risk coaching at a cellar dweller like OSU? Did Gary think he was the secret sauce that would make any staff/team succeed? Did Gary just take the easy road and hire p...
