Re: Doug Gottlieb now a head coach

Lol, this is funny. I listen to Doug probably 3 times a week, I usually like his takes, and he's generally complementary of the MW. He is walking into a legit disaster, and had no major HC experience. He was an advisor to Ok State this past year, so that's something. Should be a fun drama to watch f...

What a bad precedent Danny just set himself up for in the future with recruits and what a risk for a locker room that will all be well aware of how much one player is making. Danny kept NIL on the DL for a reason at USU with much less on the line. And 2 mil for a player that isn’t going to be enoug...

Jazz end up with the 10th pick. The "trade two superstars in their prime" strategy is sure working out for the BYU boys. What a joke It's tough, gotta get lucky in the draft, and catch a couple free agents for good deals. Jazz used up their luck with Gobert and Mitchell. Not getting to the finals w...

The timeframe in which boosters will continue to be stupid enough to pay a million or more for a 1 year bball transfer is right now and won't last long. Great should take advantage while he can. Adebayo is 26. I would take him. I also like Dejounte Murray, Kyle Kuzma, Miles Bridges. No single one of these guys helps much. Need to get 1 star in the draft first, then the clock is ticking. Boston drafted Tatum and Brown, Minnesota drafted Ant, etc. Unless you hit in the draft, you can be mid a...

The MWC is struggling with the transfer portal, so we need to find tough opponents in non-conference play to help with the strength of schedule. Mixed feelings on that one. A mostly softer pre-conference schedule was good for us last year I think, new faces, new coach, wins always look good. But if...

A 10 man rotation will help us when it comes to tournaments. You could tell some of our guys were gassed as tournaments went on.
How often does 1 of those 10 go down with an injury?

We lost Max last year, nearly lost Mason it seemed. Happy to have deeper early season rotations.
