Re: Great Osobor
If you want to spin it that way, sure. What if I spin it like this? Danny came and one a conference championship in year one. Took a bench player and made him player of the year. Left for a huge pay day for him and his best player. Is that all people need to know? Haters gonna hate? Completely agre...

Re: Great Osobor
What a bad precedent Danny just set himself up for in the future with recruits and what a risk for a locker room that will all be well aware of how much one player is making. Danny kept NIL on the DL for a reason at USU with much less on the line. And 2 mil for a player that isn’t going to be enoug...

Crazy to have assistants joining the staff that aren’t bringing recruits with them. Maybe this new one will.

Isaac Davis would never have signed if Osobor returning was remotely possible. He wants to play.

Re: Great Osobor
Feel free to disagree (as if I need to mention) but I think if Sprinkle had a million dollars to spend on one player he would have offered it to Brown over Great. Darius has to be thinking "If only I had one more year!" Sprinkle should pay Darius a million just to say thanks for the contract Darius...

Re: NAR: Seattle and Grand Canyon are part of the WCC
Makes SUUs gambit to join the WAC continue to be a poor decision. Should have stayed in the Big Sky… SUU, Utah Valley, and Utah Tech should move into the Big Sky. The Big Sky would have Weber State, Utah Valley, SUU, and Utah Tech. Side note, did I see the Big Sky conference offices along the freew...

Morning update from Trilly https://i.postimg.cc/jCnDmb0Y/Screenshot-20240510-101608-Discord.jpg I just want this to be over. It is for USU. I would love to see Great in Aggie Blue one more year, would be an epic season for us. But I don't want The Collective to give him close to what it sounds like...

Re: NAR: Seattle and Grand Canyon are part of the WCC
Seems like post Gloria Nevarez the WCC is getting stuff done. kind of Alarming that the MWC isn’t doing anything. We lose SDSU were in trouble. Short of getting WSU/OSU officially in the conference what moves are there to make? No other teams really add value to the MWC, and would be one more team ...

Grand Canyon is long overdue. Seattle U on the other hand? Are they a religious school or is that no longer a requirement?

Re: Isaac Davis to USU?
Does this mean that Great Osobor will not be coming back? Are we at 13 players? Signing Davis will have no affect on if Great decides to come back. Davis will not be taking minutes away from Great next season. Great would be the main focal point of the offense if (big if) he returns. I think Davis ...

Re: Great Osobor
On a more realistic note, it would be completely reasonable for Osobor to pass up one year of big NIL money if he thought it would improve his chances of playing in the NBA. It may be that he will take more money if he can get it, but he is not interested in being a role player if it would tank his...

Re: Chris Murray Thoughts
I'm not sure why I would give much credence to a writer who ranked USU as the seventh best team in the conference heading into the MW tournament last year. Maybe he foresaw the OT vs FSU and crapping the bed vs SDSU. Awesome year but the MWC tourney was a low point. Yeah, hate to say it, but we wer...

Re: Great Osobor
I have a conspiracy theory that Great is intentionally dragging out the process so all the spots and money dries up and he has to say "oh dang, everybody filled their spots, I guess I'll go back to Utah State." AGAIN 100% CONSPIRACY THEORY. I have a conspiracy theory that 9/11 was an inside job. Bu...

He looks like a great player. Not sure why he'd come to such a loaded roster though. I bet he goes with UNLV. UNLV can pay him a LOT more. Dexter Akanno may have the same mindset as Taylor Funk. Akanno's 4 seasons 13-14 Marquette 3-28 Oregon State 11-21 Oregon State 13-19 Oregon State 0 conference ...
