Look, I know Hans went to byu and is a byu fan, but he does respect Utah State. I think he would love to have his son play up here.

Re: Hillstead Transferring
If we had a young QB who was dominating and clearly the future of our program transfer out in the spring to BYU because he wanted to "play at a higher level," that would sting, but at least it wouldn't be totally unfair. Hillstead was mediocre at best for us last season (and that might be generous)...

Re: SC Featured: Blake Anderson
Wasn't this the same video they showed on College Gameday? Yep, it's months old but for some reason they put it back up on ESPN again. I believe since this video was made Blake has only suffered more loss. His brother Bryan (that Cason was living with in Texas) also passed away on April 20th after ...

Re: Transfer QB Offer
Two things I never have confidence in when it comes to BA, both of which have been ongoing issues since he arrived in Logan: 1. Anything QB related. Way too many examples of missteps by Blake to list here. Most notably, continuing to start a visibly injured Bonner over Coop and then having the ball...

Now that the Portal is Closed
From what I know, the portal officially closed yesterday. Please correct me if I'm wrong. With that, here are my thoughts: The Good: - We kept both Royals and the rest of the receiving corps. (Huge Win) - Ike stays! - Potential upgrade at Qb for this year. - O-line stayed intact. - Faison came back!...

Based on the turnover, and the great players we have returning, the football team has as much success as the basketball team did last year! The set the example right? I am excited to support all the players who have chosen to stay! I know, some of you will say, Football is different than Basketball...

MJ Tafisi and Hale are both good enough to get at least a mini camp invite. We'll we've crossed the Rubicon when it comes to allowing people to come back. I'm confident Blake and co. will figure it out.
With that said, I'm so happy we are bringing Faison back! The fact that he was getting big time offers and still chose to come back says a lot.

Of course, I would prefer our student athletes to avoid weed and be compliant with the warrants, but if this is the worst offense we see all year, I'll be ok with that.

I'm a have a lot of friends and family who are utah fans. A couple of years back I heard dozens of them saying things like "We'll never win the Pac-12 as long as Kyle Whittingham is head coach. We need to move on." Fast forward a couple of years, they are eating serious crow. USU fans who are wanti...

Re: We need to start searching for a new head coach
This upcoming season is toast before it even started. We need to start looking for a new head coach ASAP because BA is done after this upcoming season. Unfortunately for a school like USU that has been known to find diamonds in the rough, we will always see people transfer and leave. It is not BA's...

I'd be all for a Group of 5 playoff. I've also seen a proposed super league with a "G5 relegated" division (see picture for reference). My dream would be to have a G5 playoffs, then have the top 2-4 teams from said playoffs move up to the Super/Premier League, while having the bottom 2-4 premier lea...

All Blake's fault. How dare he bring in talented players that P5 schools would want to poach. Not a winning strategy at all.

I'd hope the players were just as upset after that embarrassing performance as the fans were. Getting beat down by 28 to little brother at home shouldn't be acceptable to anyone.
