This is really Smith's 1st recruiting class that he should be judged on. So far he gets an A and he still has one to go. If Karwowski turns into a good D1 C, then Smith gets an A+, if there is such a thing

They weren't HS team mates. McEwen went to Wasatch Academy, Dorius went to Wasatch High.

Thanks for that article, it explains a lot. He was 1st team all Region 9, and there are close to 20 JC teams in that region. He played against a number of players who went D1 from Region 9 and were being watched by D1 coaches. So he is a known player.
