Re: Sam

Only way he is traded is if he is part of a package for an all star. Not going to happen unless the other team asks for him. His 2 million dollar salary doesn't do anything for salary matching. I bet he gets an extension and makes more than 2 million next year though. His salary wouldn't be an issu...

Re: Nate Dixon

Has a short term USU assistant ever been talked about more than Dixon? What is the fascination with the guy. 100% responsible for any and every signing during the Ryan Odom era. Very well connected from coast to coast. Most don't realize he was on the back-to-back National Champion Florida Gators s...

Re: Sam

The team really ignores Sam it feels like. A lot of ball hogging and it’s showing in the loses I think. I think it is indicative of the entire NBA. I can't even stand watching it; PG brings the ball up the court, drives and if he can't finish, he tries kicking the ball out to someone. Not just Clev...

Jazz end up with the 10th pick. The "trade two superstars in their prime" strategy is sure working out for the BYU boys. What a joke

I'm not sure why I would give much credence to a writer who ranked USU as the seventh best team in the conference heading into the MW tournament last year. Maybe he foresaw the OT vs FSU and crapping the bed vs SDSU. Awesome year but the MWC tourney was a low point. Yeah, hate to say it, but we wer...

Abu was a beast. I loved watching him run after he recovered from his knee injury. If Abu doesn't blow out his knee just before the '93 season, we would have won ten games that year - flipping last second losses into wins against Utah, Baylor and UNR because we could have controlled the ball; ended...

Re: does having more pro-Sports in Utah help to raise USU's profile

The answer is yes. The media world can't ignore Utah anymore because the bottom of Utah County to the top Cache County is now in the millions of people (the area is not that big to have that many people. Utah State and Utah would be the biggest winners in this because both schools can promote thems...

I'm posting for a friend. Top 10 of the MWC maybe. Not much of a feat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I should have been more specific. My friend said top 10 in the Coaches Poll. Btw, preseason polls in sports don't mean $hit to my friend. However, political polls are important to him. :stirpot...

I was ok with a company paying a player to “work for them”. Had did it go from this to where we are now, with apparently the b...

I’m not the leader of the Blake fan club, but in terms of on-field stuff, there’s zero reason to fire Blake. There’s also zero chance that USU does this from a financial perspective. I won’t tell other people what to talk about, but this discussion is futile. Yeah this is a message board and I'll n...

Let’s pump the brakes on this a little. Smith, Odom, and Sprinkle are all good coaches. Calhoun hasn’t coached a game at Utah State yet. Agreed. But I'm petty. Therefore, I enjoy the fact that neither Smith or Odom have made the tourney since they left USU. And none of our players/recruits have fol...

I’m happy that he used “a part of” correctly, instead of saying “apart of.” But those players in the portal are apart of the team.
I'm happy that he used "grateful" instead of "greatful". He did a good job with the commas, too.
