For more baseball fun, watch the recent Jomboy breakdown of the Brewers-Rays brawl. Classic baseball fight. (Or watch almost any Jomboy, like the one when Jesse Winker challenged the entire Angels dugout to a duel.)
Jomboy has some great content.

Re: SDSU getting more than 1 million dollars of NIL to play in tournament

It's a good way to create an even wider gap beaten the haves and have nots. Why mess around with these pre season tournaments that get a couple good teams and a bunch of mediocre? Don't run these through the NCAA. Hand pick and pay your invitees and sell broadcast rights to a TV network. With a lin...

Re: SDSU getting more than 1 million dollars of NIL to play in tournament

The interesting question will be:

If NIL collectives start sponsoring tournaments that are not sanctioned by the NCAA (NCAA doesn't get a cut of TV revenue), will the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee be obligated to factor those games into its decision on tournament selection and seeding?

Good to see two Aggies going at it in the playoffs. Hopefully Merrill finds his shot next game.
Combined for two points tonight, according to the box score.

You gotta love baseball

In the middle of a minor league game, a baserunner on second base for San Antonio Missions is pulled from the game and is completely confused as to why. It turns out, he and another player on the team were traded in the middle of the game and in the middle of an at bat. They gather their things and ...

I wish Jordy would have had more time to find better options. We are royally (I can't express myself without swearing) him over. I think that kid from Cedar City got screwed even worse. He saw 4 different coaches at USU before playing a game and then got counseled out by coach no. 4. Talk about was...

While I’m pleasantly surprised how this team is shaping up offensively I’m concerned that we won’t be able to stop teams. 1. We lose Brown who locked down opposing teams best guards. 2. If we lose Osobor we lose our “presence “ in the middle defensively. 3. Losing Sahko hurts as well as he was a gr...

Not as much range as Funk, but a better mid-range game off the dribble. The turn-around, fade-away shot from the left wing was impressive. That is not an easy shot.

With a current guard rotation of Martinez, Falslev, Uduje, and Albury, what kind of player did people think we would get for this spot? This is a fantastic addition for the role that it is. He was a 3 and D guy and couldn’t do either at the MW level. Is a lot of that due to how Sprinkle reportedly treated his players, probably. Was there also a lack of MW talent in him, probably. I would compare Sampson more to victor. So very athletic, moved like a guard. Big men fishy shoot 3’s in that era, but I think it easily could have been part of his game. He also would have been able to defend the perimeter where Zach has no chance. I don’t see Zach being a force in the NBA. With t...
