Re: Great Osobor
I am sort of surprised that th Aztecs have not went after Great so far. According to Coach Dutcher, the only other spot he is looking to fill is a power forward. Q bulky guy that can hang down low and score. That is what Dutcher said today. Do you guys see Osofor as a Center or more of a Power Forw...

UVU may have given Welling some money… not sure we offered him a huge amount in NIL with Martínez, Falslev, Johnson, and a bunch of them likely demanding a certain amount.

Re: Jordy Barnes
Honestly, Jordy could become an improved Luka Doncic in time. That’s what he reminds me of. Maybe a Steph Curry with a little more range. I don’t know. He’s a walk-on for now, but no reason he shouldn’t be in the all-star game in 2 years.

Either it wasn't true, or it's something that should have only been shared with paying subscribers on Cougarboard Premium. ...or they found some more NIL money. :noidea: Is "NIL money" at BYU code word for "tithing money"? No, it’s not. Weird, you would know? But I suppose if they were going to dip...

They'd have to pay me so much money to live in Lubbock. I think I could suffer there for a year for a cool million I don't think Texas Tech has a million to throw at a player. Sounds like Kentucky had close to that, Louisville might be close to that. I'd be shocked if TTU offered him more than 500k...

Had to double check and make sure it wasn’t SLB who posted this… hopefully you’re right. But we also have to trust this coaching staff. If they can develop him over the next year, then great. He has the size, and hopefully the athleticism.

Re: Transfer QB Offer
Two things I never have confidence in when it comes to BA, both of which have been ongoing issues since he arrived in Logan: 1. Anything QB related. Way too many examples of missteps by Blake to list here. Most notably, continuing to start a visibly injured Bonner over Coop and then having the ball...

He’s our Starting 3. It depends who comes back, (Great) but: This probably pushes Uduje to the bench. I imagine Falslev Martinez, Anderson, Great, and Fish are the starters. If we somehow land Tucker Anderson, I’m ready to build the Calhoun statue. So.. Where are we gonna put it. I'm thinking right by the south entrance. Yup. The worst thing for the P-4 would be if we quit playing them and they only had each other to beat up on. Sounds like the G5 is getting shafted financially. I think the P5 (4, 2, whatever it is) might start sweating when they lose their whipping boy. If the G5 can make more money on their own, I say do it. I’m cheering for USU wherever they end up.

Dutcher seems like the guy to retire, then show up on podcasts and say how NIL is ruining the sport. Isn't that the play these days? This is why it's good to have a coach like Calhoun. He has embraced the portal and is fully utilizing it. Not saying Dutcher won't. In fact, I think Dutcher and SDSU ...

You should also consider the circumstances. Barnes was committed for years now, it seems bad form to pull his offer after all this time. I don’t know the specifics though, so maybe I’m jumping to conclusions.
