It's usually a day or two behind, but the MW Connection has a portal tracker.that will help provide a good idea of who is coming and going from MW rosters.

Re: Ajani Carter???
Just reposted a ton of his Aggie highlights and looks like 22 was hinting at something… He was hinting at Noa coming back. Hearditherefirst heard it hear first. Last time Elelyon Noa showed up on a roster anywhere was at Bozo in 2022. Did he quit playing FB? :headscratch: Sorry if this has been dis...

Re: Josh Uduje
He didn't quite meet my expectations last season as he came in with a lot of hype, but I could definitely see his value to the team and he played the 6th man roll very well. He was a great ambassador and represented USU very well and was finally playing with more confidence and being more aggressive...

Re: Isaac Davis to USU?
Love his physicality and motor. Maybe slightly smaller than Osobor and shorter wingspan, but probably more athletic and moves a bit better. Kind of a mix of Osobor and Templin. Pope seemed to think he could become an elite shooter in time, and Calhoun is known to let his bigs put some up. Would be c...

Re: Drake allen
Did anybody watch SUU or UVU the last few years? What happened to Allen's shooting last year at UVU? He was 35.5% from 3 on 2.1 attempts per game as a freshman at SUU (almost 50% overall), and then dropped to 23.2% from 3 on 2.3 attempts per game as a sophomore at UVU (44.4% overall). Which year is...

Re: Josh Uduje
Martinez returning and also signing Tucker, a long 3pt shooting wing/forward, is probably what drove Uduje to the portal. His minutes were diminishing by each signing. I love the guy and wish he would have stayed and played a support role on this team but I don't blame him for leaving in search of a...

I think the Pac2 will be excluded from NCAA post season play after 2 years unless they get their conference numbers up. Or something like that.

Is his fiancée out of eligibility? She was all-sec defense in soccer last season at Florida. She is listed as a Rs-Sr on the Gators site but maybe she has a COVID year available? [emoji2369]

Re: Transfer QB Offer
Last season 11/38 and 3 INTs :headscratch: In fairness to Conover, ASU was really bad. The two games he made an appearance in was a 29-0 loss to Fresno and a 55-3 loss to Utah. He threw 2 picks against Fresno but the other two ASU qb’s that played in that same game threw 2 ints and 1 int each. I’m ...

Re: MW transfer portal tracker
Is there a website that keeps a running list of what all the rosters in the conference actually look like from day to day? I’d like to compare what we have so far with what our conference mates have but with so many moving parts it’s hard to do.

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
Question is, did Mongolian Mike not include USU in his top 3 because we told him Tucker Anderson was committing, or did we end up with Tucker because Mike told is no? Not that it matters as either player was a great option. I think I’d probably take Tucker if I had the choice anyway.

Re: Crazy idea for Stadium upgrade
Liability nightmare. Never get the lawyers to sign off on it. Every party needs a pooper that’s why we invited you …… If every little town and county fair can set up mobile carnival rides I’d think USU could figure it out. Yes perhaps those traveling carnivals burden the liability. I’m sure it woul...

Re: State of the Program
Its' midway through the 5th round and I don't think anyone from the MW has been picked yet, so it's not just a USU issue. I think there are two CSU players in the next 100 best available. The MW could very well get shut out or get just a couple drafted this year. Down year for sure for the conference.

Re: Crazy idea for Stadium upgrade
This is a great idea. I think we have a certain mega donor that has a good relationship with this roller coaster company, so maybe he can pitch the idea. This is a much better gimmick idea than having a blue field. A roller coaster would be sweet, but I'd even take a tower ride, a swinging pirate sh...

Re: Drake allen
I think the biggest thing is probably that their is no obvious difference maker in the group. We will see, there are still several spots to fill. Imo we still need a good shooter wing type, unless everyone starts shooting much better. I mean, I think Albury and Gateretse look like significant diffe...

Re: Drake allen
If it makes us feel better, someone close to the UVU program said Drake has a good 3pt shot in his arsenal but due to an ankle injury and poor offensive scheme, he struggled from distance last year. He did shoot 36% from 3 the prior year at SUU, which is in the Isaac Johnson and Javon Jackson range....

Re: Drake allen
Ill put myself out on the skeptical of this guy. Calhoun wants three point shooting and the guy shot 23% in the WAC. He's also jumped around to every school, sure he's a senior so we don't care if he jumps but has he ever been part of a winning team? A point guard that isn't part of a winning team ...

BYU’s O-lines are historically very tall. I’m not convinced Hillstead will succeed on their team and in that league but I could be wrong. He has most everything else going for him except for size.

We have two coming early this week. I can't divulge who. Did these visits occur yet? I did see a guy who looked about 6'7"-6'9" with Eric Brown on a recruiting tour while in the ARC today. he was wearing an NBA Global Development t-shirt if that means anything. Don’t know who this guy is or if he is at all reliable but if this true, it’s a bad look and one we have to fix like yesterday. Can’t be not fulfilling promises. That will kill your whole program in a hurry (which makes me think there’s more to the story but perception is everything). https://twitt...

What are the expectations for Phelps? He’s an athletic and physically impressive 6’6” off guard/wing. Apparently he is a very good defender, a good slasher, gets to the foul line, but is a little unknown in regard to outside shooting. Anyone heard anything from how he did in practice or on scout te...

Huh. After watching his clip I'm struggling to understand why he wasn't even more dominant playing against bad teams and why he played only 24 mpg? He's got great size, he's coordinated, and seems to be a decent finisher around the hoop. Maybe it's simply just an issue of still growing into his bod...
