I am hearing that he expressed interest in the job. It was made apparent, after his inquiry, that he was not going to get the position. I am not sure if salary was ever discussed.

Wise words....the players were hoping that Peterson would become head coach. They believe that he wasn't seriously considered.

He broke his finger at the very beginning of the Texas Tech game.

A parent of one of the players shared that the team was extremely upset that Coach did not tell them beforehand. He previously assured them that he was not leaving. (I can't blame him for moving in, just wish that things were handled differently.)
