Re: Ksl report about BA

Yeah. I get that context is important. My issue wasn’t about context it was the fact that it was reported at all.I think everyone says inappropriate things from time to time. Whether they are inadvertent or not. What is important is to asses the whole man. Personally, I don’t care what he said in a ...

Re: Ksl report about BA

Honestly! I am sick and tired of the the media making an issue out of an off hand comment. I don’t know B Anderson. I do know some things about the man. He was a great husband and father to his first wife and children. I know he immediately adopted his second wite’s children and is a great father to...

Hmmm, can’t use stats, can’t use passing yardage, can’t use 9 wins, can’t use grit, can’t use leadership. Bonner is there because of nepotism. Give me a break.

Re: Logan Bonner Has Been Impressive

As far as I’m concerned Peasly had one game. Air Force. Other than that not so much. As for Boise St , BYU and Wyoming. In all three of those games the offensive line was flat out manhandled. I’d don’t know how Bonner got out of bed the next day. The thing is he kept on playing. I’ll take his toughn...

Where is Norbert??? For months I heard about this great European player. Univ of Utah tranfer. He arrives late because of COVID travel issues. USU best game this year

I think this is the best game for the Aggies this year. The physicality by CSU was really punishing and was dominating the game. But the Aggies only had 45 yards in penalties and 15 yds was a taunting penalty by Devin Thompkins. I thought it was a bogus call. No nada 0 false starts and only one turn...

Think Elia Magau 6’3” 350 lbs and a true freshman. I think he broke a finger and is red shirting this year. He was highly recruited by a number P5 schools and transferred from BYU in August. I believe he will be a significant part of the Offensive line in the future.

Re: Air Force opens as 11 point favorites over USU

I watched the Navy /Airforce game and came away with the impression that they were not as physical as they’ve been in the past. It is true that the triple option is a nightmare. Particularly when you only see it once a year. On the other hand USU continues to be very successful running the ball Betw...

Re: Scouting North Dakota

I’m not convinced that NDU is a good team. After all they played ISU. Here are a couple of stats ISU had more first downs 21-17. More passing yardage while NDU had more rushing yardage but only averaged 4.1 yds per carry. ISU lost because of three (3) turnovers. Needless to say I am biased because I...

Aggie physcality

I thought the physical play by the Aggies was really impressive. I don’t remember a sack and much of the running back action was between the tackles. They played brutal violent football and yes I think it wore theWSU defense out. It’s really not fun to play a team like the Aggies. They will intimida...

Since TCU and UTAH left the Mountain West Conference BYU has aggressively and openly sought P5 conference affiliation. Hmmm. Using percentages re retuning USU offense production can be misleading. Last year USU played 6 games and averaged 15.5 points per game. 83 %. I’m an old Aggie from the 1960’s and have little insite into how this will all work but here is my take. Generally speaking if an athlete can pocket some extra cash I say good for him.
