Re: MW transfer portal tracker
Welp. And cal is getting quite the haul. https://twitter.com/CAL_SPORTS_/status/1784339953381773476 And by Mark Madsen and the staff they mean the guys fronting the NIL. I’m surprised cal has a strong nil? They’ve had a lack of support and fan apathy for a long time. i mean, it is UC-Berkley, they ...

Re: Visitors this weekend?
We have two coming early this week. I can't divulge who. Did these visits occur yet? I did see a guy who looked about 6'7"-6'9" with Eric Brown on a recruiting tour while in the ARC today. he was wearing an NBA Global Development t-shirt if that means anything. I originally thought it was Kiir Kuan...

I did see a recruit on campus in a golf cart with coach calhoun and eric brown. going off the list of offers @aggies22 has put up, i'd say he looked like either D'Maurian Williams or Sebastian Thomas

Re: NAR: Coach Cal to Arkansas
If Pope left, would Mark Madsen be interested in BYU? I'm sure he'd be their 1st call and he's a better coach than Pope, if you ask me. (Not to mention being in the Big XII rather than the absurd West Coast of the ACC.) https://calbears.com/news/2024/3/12/mens-basketball-mark-madsen-signs-contract-...

The 7’3 dude people keep referring to is Gabe Dynes, pictured in the bottom corner. Re: Are we hearing anything from the Players
I will comment that I went to get my haircut today. The hair cutter said she was a UW fan, and I mentioned that there were rumors that my favorite team's coach was being chased by UW. She then said that one of her regulars is a WSU bball player and came in for a pre-NCAA-tournament haircut, and tha...

Guys, UVU gave Dorius $40k & a car to go there. That’s more commitment NIL money than any player on our team got to come to USU. Excuse me, but how the (I can't express myself without swearing) does an open enrollment commuter school with no real fan base out NIL us? Is it because we have a nearly ...

Yeah, I counted 20 tantrums (he ended up curling up into a ball and didn't react to *anything* for the last 10 minutes), but the final dollar amount is still being counted up. I've had a lot of people decide to donate after the game, so the total is even higher than $360 What a great night, I enjoye...

I decided on the boise boys and girls club because the boys and girls club has an A- rating from CharityWatch.org, and I wasn't able to find a Logan chapter of the boys and girls club Although I do think that Cache Refugees would be great, and I feel a little dumb for not thinking of the Utah Food B...

:wtf: I think the bigger issue is not that Terrance Hill (or Barnes) can't start at PG next year, but there's just the unknown. What if they can't, and you planned on them? Then you're really left hanging. I think on the current roster Martinez is more of a PG than Falslev if we were in that scenar...

as a current student (who isn't on the committee), i think the hurd premium complaints are stupid. everybody who camps out already pays for hurd premium, nobody who shows up early isn't on hurd premium. it's a way to fund the hurd and the other stuff, and $25 is more than a fair asking point especia...

im guessing we lose to bradley, SLU, win 2 games in Cayman, split USF/Santa Clara, split CSU/UNLV/UNR, and steal 1 game between UNM/SDSU/Boise. About 18-11, which gives us an NIT birth (at least in the old NIT model) and a lot of optimism for next season

That spot probably isn't going to be taken by a high major team, so I would love to have the final game be against an in-state school. There are 7 D1 schools in a sneaky good hoops state, we should always have more than one of them on our schedule

Re: Got your starting lineup and rotation guesses yet?
We are pretty loaded. Confident at minimum we will have a quality 8 man rotation and good chance it’s 10…with tons of talent redshirting too. With Martinez in the fold I have no clue how we can get Jackson or Phelps much PT, as the guard spots will be dominated by Brown, Falslev, Martinez and Uduje...
