Re: Carter Welling
This is dumb. Having players come and go is so exhausting. I’m to the point that I could care less until I see the team run out onto the court for the first game and then buy a program and see who is on the team.

Re: Drake allen
We are seeing a pattern that the best players at lower levels of competition move up to conferences like the MWC, and the best players from conferences like the MWC try to move up to the P-4 level. There are obviously a few guys who transfer down for playing time, and even fewer who transfer latera...

Average WAC level player. Good for 10 backup point guard minutes at best.

NWAC is not a good league. Should have taken Dylan Jones at SnOw if you wanted a guy like that.

At some point this will be a big enough issue that congress will step in to regulate it. Not sure when, but that will be the end result someday.

Yeah, this gets talked about all the time. The more I think about it, the less I want it. Just so we can see the best pieces from our last team come back to the spectrum in a different jersey? Just take the buyout money and move on, I say. Doesn't have to be the next year. Give it 3 years when all ...

Yeah, I think Sprinkle leaving might be coloring your view of the season. I still remember the 2012 football season as the best football season of my lifetime, not the season where Coach Andersen left. Yeah, but Coach Andersen built that team. Sure there were some Brent Guy.. guys.. but Gary built ...

None of this really matters honestly until the new coach is hired. Most likely he will have some studs he will bring with him too.

Re: Sprinkle will gut the program
It’s not that we might have a down season or two. It’s the total lack of any continuity or identity in the program. It will be difficult to find the motivation to support a program when it is a bunch of new paid professionals with no connection to the University or the community each year I think t...

Looks like it's a done deal. For all the Sprinkle sycophants. Your hero is going to gut the program to the core, taking the pick of the litter and leaving the discards behind. Then, he will take the recruits with him. This means we haven't had a real recruiting class in a few years because these pi...

It feels like this is discussed every year. What I remember is we play with a nike ball because of our Nike affiliation, CSU uses a different ball, wouldn’t be surprised if UNR uses a completely different ball. Then in the MWC tournament they use a certain ball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I...

The ball they play with in the ncaa tournament is different than what the league plays with the regular season. I’m told it is much grippier and definitely hurts shooting.

I know the chance of this is something around 0.0000001% to happen but there is the possibility for USU to play the following games. First round against TCU Second round against Montana State Sweet Sixteen against Samford Elite Eight against Creighton That's some optimistic $hit right there my Aggi...

Re: The matchup isn't any worse than it would be if
we were the 7 with TCU as the 10 like in some predictions. It's at least better than if we were to face TCU after they had momentum from beating Colorado in the first four. A few less bid stealers could have made TCU an 11, making the matchup the same as it would be if we were the 6 and them as the...

I'm 70/30 optimistic that we'll win the first round game. However, I'm not so optimistic for the long term success of mid-major basketball programs like ours because of NIL. Why? There are always good players that want to play. Just need two or three good players each year to compete well. Same amo...

Re: Who else was at the 2014 FB SLC Luncheon at the Homewood Suites?
Fans care far more than players. Fans take loses sometimes far worse than players. Players may care about the current team, but far far less about the school they represent. Most could care less, it’s just the jersey they are wearing this year. Especially this years team with all the transfers who h...

I see your point, better to play loose than to play nervous and afraid.
However I doubt any of the kids on this team (other than maybe Falsev,) really even care all that much that Utah state has not won a tournament game in over 20 years.

The refs did not lose the game for us but they were bad. For both teams. You never knew what they were going to call. It was a poorly officiated game all around.

Depaul, up two with ten seconds left and a foul to give, allows a 3 and turns the ball over without a shot attempt to lose by 1. Interesting fact, I believe Littlewood was the head baseball coach at BYU up until last year when he resigned mid season. The other ref, DG Neilsen is the head baseball coach at SLCC.AggieFBObsession wrote: ↑March 9th, 2024, 9:48 pmLittlewood has the appropriate last name. He definitely is not an alumnus of Longwood.
