Re: Secret Meeting??
This is great. Football needs to do something similar. VERY, VERY much so. I was talking to Emmett last summer and we were talking about how there isn't anyone that maintains the school-to-player relationship once they graduate. Interesting. 37 staff members listed on the football roster and not on...

Re: Women's Basketball 2024-25
I thought women had 15 instead of 13 scholarships, but I am not positive. Just googled it, and it looks like you're correct. I had always assumed it was the same as men's basketball, but it is 15. Either way, I suspect the women's team is done adding players unless there is a late surprise somewhere.

I'd root for USU, but given Boise's absolute and utter dominance over us, I'd feel pretty confident in BYU's chances of missing the playoff.

Two more staff updates for the team today: Joe Haigh, former head coach at Saint Francis. Did some really nice work there at a really tough place to win, and had them had them as a regular post season team before stepping away to spend more time with his family. Has bounced around as an assistant f...

Re: Jacob Conover
This one is puzzling to me. There's not a single thing in his college career that indicates he's even an FCS-level player. I guess you've gotta fill the QB room somehow and have bodies in practice, but feels like we're scraping the bottom of the barrel here. This dude has been oozing with potential...

Re: Calhoun replacing strength/conditioning coach with his brother?
Lebron trusts his son and has won four NBA titles. Do I want the Jazz to take his college benchwarmer son in the NBA draft? No.
In no way, shape or form does Calhoun's brother have close to the resume of Stitz.

Huh. That's a definite head scratcher. I've never heard anything but glowing praise for Jimmy Stitz, and it seems like he's done a nice job. Perhaps he's leaving for another job?

Re: MWC getting into the big early season tournaments
Well we’re choosing a European tour instead this year. I didn’t think those were mutually exclusive? I think the only rule about these international trips is you can only do one every four years. At least that’s how it used to be. There may also be some rules about incoming freshmen only being able...

Seems like a pretty solid get. As harsh as I've been on this coaching staff for all the turnaround this season, I've been pretty impressed by the past few additions they've made. It does feel like this offense could have a chance to be fun.

Fun fact: Seattle has the smallest arena in Division I basketball
So they'll fit in to that conference just fine

Committed to Xavier. where did you hear this? I have received elite inside information that Tucker Bowman is coming with Tucker Anderson to Utah State. He will be a walk-on. I apologize in advance if this has already been reported. I honestly never thought I would be the one to break info, so it seems like it’s probably too good to be true hah...

I'm not sure why I would give much credence to a writer who ranked USU as the seventh best team in the conference heading into the MW tournament last year.

Guys, I don't really think it's worth squabbling over a couple inches....no one will think any less of you. Back to Isaac though, does anyone know his wingspan? Looks pretty impressive in that photo. As Great taught us, a little girth can make up for that missing length. With great girth comes grea...

Re: Isaac Davis to USU?
Can't wait for SLB to be here in 2 years like "I always knew Davis was going to be amazing. You all are idiots for doubting him, but also for doubting me." I remember the days where it was every week on this board that "I knew Aggies would going to lose..", "I knew that player x was terrible and no...

I don’t remember his interest list including Utah State before. It’s not on the updated list. It was on the original list. My guess is Utah = Utah State… Not necessarily. Craig is getting DESPERATE for dudes. They only have like 6 schollie players. Who is Craig? Craig Smith. The sleeved-up dude? I ...

I haven't listened to Hans and Scotty for quite a while, since I don't live in the market anymore, but I thought Hans was always pretty fair to Utah State, and spoke highly about them. I would love to see another Olsen at Utah State, as Hans' uncles are from before my time. I agree. Hans seems like...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
Sincere question here: why in the hell should he schedule Utah State? Primarily because that is what college sports should be about. Play games that are interesting to the fans. However, an equally important reason is for him to prove to everyone that he has testicles. I won't believe he does until...
