I thought Anthony had to sit out this year.
He does have to sit.
He didn’t necessarily say that Anthony would be an impact player this year lol spending a year on the scout team will do a lot of good for everyone

Re: Malik Henry-Nevada QB

Now that we’re back into conference play we’ll be back in our element. If the weather is good, we should perform a lot closer to expectations than we did last week and win handily. We’re not a good enough team to overlook anybody, but we’ve still got a solid team, especially if we get a lot of our i...

Re: Looked like Coaches Expected to get dominated all day

I think we expected this whole new coaching staff to hit the ground running but really we’ve got some growing pains. I’m not worried that future P5 games will be much like this. I’m honestly not even bothered that we lost, I’m just glad we’re 2-0 in conference and am hopeful we get some injured play...

Re: Our Team Needs This Bye Week but

I’m with ya, I love college football but it’s just tough to get excited during a bye week. My family just wants to watch BYU-P or Utah play but the other MWC games are much more interesting to me. I guess it’s worth keeping up with BYU-P a little bit to see how their new QB is...

Re: We’ve got a new bottom feeder

Is it just me or does New Mexico’s QB have a really weird throwing motion? It seems like all they have going for them (for lack of a better term) is their run game.

We might shut them out at their place.

We’ve got a new bottom feeder

San Jose State up 26-0 over New Mexico shortly before halftime. Between that and an SEC win it’s pretty safe to say San Jose is no longer the worst of the conference.

Are they any good still? Meh, probably not. Just not the worst. Major milestone either way

Re: LSU on "upset alert"

This guy doesn’t seem to realize that Utah State’s offense likes to operate at “ludicrous speed,” especially in practice, so if a high-speed offense is their key to victory, we’ve got this in the bag.

Even so, I think it’s the Tigers by 20+

Can confirm, CVTD would get you to the game, but they’d be out of service by the time the game is over, unless it’s an early kickoff. Save yourself some money and take the bus to the game and get a ride after. When did you drive for them, sam? I worked there from 2015-2017 as I was finishing up school

As logical as it sounds on the surface to rest our best players, keep in mind that it benefits our players when they go up against competition this tough. It’s a fantastic learning experience for everyone. We should play to win and put our best foot forward and pray for no injuries

Score more points than them. Sorry I think we would just have to force several turnovers, score lots of points on defense and special teams, and just play the best game of our entire lives while LSU is caught overlooking us and has an off day. Even then, we’d probably still lose, just by a lot less ...

Good thing that since I don't have CBSSN I do have access to KSL Game Center. If all I could do was read this thread I'd be convinced we lost by 40 or 50. The fact that we gave up that many turnovers and boneheaded plays and still won by 10 is massive. Defense was great in the second half and almos...

Re: TT fans in meltdown mode over Wells starting the wrong QB

He was most successful when he finally turned the offense over to his coordinator, and it really helped last year that it was Yost. I feel like he learned and grew as a coach here, but the one thing he could never figure out was that his offensive schemes are garbage. I really want him to do well at...

My favorite moment was the end of last year’s game. I thought we had lost in horrible fashion, but then we won. No way. That was way too scary for way too long and Preston Williams caught that ball right in front of me. Because of the end result it’s a good memory, especially to have the crushing s...

The forecast is now calling for a lot of rain on Saturday along the Wasatch front. Considering the location of Logan, we may see snow. It will be interesting to see if whether messes either or both teams up. If that means more running than passing for both teams, we might be in for a scoreline clos...

Keeping tabs on future opponents

BYU’s star running back, Ty’son Williams, has torn his ACL. I hate to see injuries happen, even to such an awful program.

Now this will be the excuse when we wipe the floor with them later this year.

Re: so how do you feel about the season going forward now?

If the offense continues to struggle scoring touchdowns inside the red zone (well below avg vs rest of FBS teams) there will be a problem. Scoring one td and kicking three FGs won't beat Boise or CSU and probably not BYU. Yup. And our pass defense is going to be tested much more than it was yesterd...

I don’t think BYU is as much of a tossup as other people seem to think. Sure, they’re better than last year but they haven’t improved enough to beat us in Logan. They never do well toward the end of the season anyway. LSU will beat us and make the playoffs. AFA could easily beat us at their place an...
