I would like to see at times Sakho and Great at the same time. I hope we get to see this in conference play. I feel like it could work. Sakho is so athletic I'd agree Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk In fact I would love to see a “Giant” lineup that plays a 2-3 zone on defense and is just insan...

Darius Brown's defense is elite. Such a joy to watch. Picks his dude up in the backcourt and hounds his a$$ all the way up the floor. I totally understand those of you that are on the Falslev train for favorite player. He's going to be a great one but for this year I still am on Brown. I love his g...

I don’t put much stock in exhibition game scores. The coach is usually tinkering and doesn’t care win or lose as much as discovering more about his team.

Re: Unofficial Summary (with a nod to Aggies22)

As I read (and enjoyed) Aggies22's player profiles by position, I was struck by the 247 ratings of so many players. Being fully aware that ratings are projections not prophecies, I still believe that this is a team of very talented players. I have no idea how many HS seniors there are in the US in ...

There is some recency bias on there. I like seeing USU on the list but for the west coast teams, Utah and UNLV should be on there. BYU and San Francisco should be lower.
UNLV is #20, I agree the Rick Majeras era should have Utah on there before us if I’m not being biased.

I always thought if Roddy could make the NBA that Bean could also. I guess sometimes it just takes a team identifying someone and investing in them. I honestly didn’t think either would stick, but Roddy seems to have carved out some minutes last year.

I would guess

1. SDSU
2. Boise
3. New Mexico
4. Nevada
5. Utah State
6. UNLV
7. Colorado State
8. San Jose
9. Air Force
10. Fresno
11. Wyoming
This would be my guess as well. Though I think 5-8 could be in any order, and possibly flip flop Air Force and Fresno.

Something is off on this one. Maybe he received offers from these guys a month ago, then they filled their rosters and he was left out? No way he picks UVU over those other options. Thought this thread was going to point out some player we could have gotten had we a spot. I am a little surprised we are full, I always liked leaving a scholarship open late to be able to snag some of those guys that become available late, but also have no issues with the roster being filled out.

This is good for Zee. I hope he finds a good landing spot. Wonder if he lands at VCU. I could see him being a backup plan for Odom. Maybe Odom is realizing it is also hard to recruit to VCU and recruiting in general is hard and it wasn’t so much recruiting to USU that was making it difficult for him.

Big blue coming out of the ceiling with repelling ropes. Seemed to get the crowd started. My understanding is the new sound system doesn’t allow for him to come down in the center anymore, but could he come down off center? Some more dramatic entry for big blue would be great to get things started.

I think Sprinkle is smart enough to not mess with prior agreements. In the case of Grant, recruiting Utah could be impacted positively or negatively b...
