Re: Players voted against playing because of comments by President Cockett

From what I am hearing is that Cockett was referring to a “change of culture” as in locker room behavior, team attitude, and other things along those lines. The players heard the word “culture”and probably immediately thought it was Maile’s Religious and Polynesian culture. If this is true... :roll...

Regardless the program will have serous damage. If the alleged comments by the president prove to be untrue big damage has already been done. If she did not say that and remains why in Hells name would she continue to pour money into the disaster. This program will suffer for a long time regardless ...

Don't forget current USU position coaches Bojay Filimoeatu (ILB) and Justin Ena (OLB). Although BA (and we) may be looking for a clean sweep? In addition, I haven't been overly impressed with our LBs this year so far, so maybe we wouldn't want to consider these two anyway? I have suggested having B...

Regardless of all if this, my uneducated hope at this point is for Leipold, Holtz, or Hill. I'd be happy with any of them. I wonder how much of this is being driven by public perception. USU has millions less in ticket purchased than what most of the MWC schools have. Well I guess that is the difference I do not think the apology has anything to do with the 9 in a row YBU has beaten USU in basketball. I just think that is a excuse for losing. I was once told the God favored YBU , perhaps that is the problem. I believe that about as much as I believe the curse.

Refs shouldnt be a part of the story- period. Granted, refs are human. But they do have a significant role. My question would be is Justin Bean as bad a offensive player as he was in this game, and we made 2 3 point shots all game I see much more wrong with this group than Queta, perhaps they need to shoot outside a bit to take pressure off the inside.

If people think that you are getting home cooking at Home, and if you are then that falls back on your school for putting up with it.

I do not think the ref's caused USU to lose the game we did that on our own.
