I think he'll be a good player, but if he wanted to come to USU he would have committed already. He'll end up a Beaver, unless he hates it up there.UtesAggs>BYU wrote:Add Pini Katoa to this week's list. Headed to Oregon St on 1/30 as well

You can add Noah Togiai to the list with area code 801.
I wish the basketball game was going to be a more exciting event than against Air Force.

Maybe not? On a list I read from some unknown random place, Togiai was on it.

Take a look at Katoa's dad's twitter feed. There is a picture of our visit with Zach and a picture of Oregon State's visit with him. You tell me were he's going.

Haha! Yeah...to be fair, though he also doesn't look excited to be holding the state championship trophy in the next pic either.GeorgiaAggie wrote:Take a look at Katoa's dad's twitter feed. Don't get me wrong, I hope he comes to USU because I think he's a great talent. However, I would be a little surprised if it happened. And no I didn't look at any tweets after the first two pictures. What was the 5th word on the 6th to the last tweet?ratofallaggies wrote:yeah but did anyone see the 5th word on his 6th to last tweet?

Katoa's dad uses 2 exclamation points for the Aggies, and 3 for the Beavers. Not good.

To hazard a guess, maybe a bad reaction to Wells' typical, "we'll win with you or without" pitch?
I'm in the camp that would love to have him, but have to think if he were coming here he'd have committed a while ago.

It looks like Blake Levin has committed to Idaho (yes, THAT Idaho) so he won't be coming this weekend.

Hmm...either Brock Warren looked much better or hopefully we're on another kicker. Otherwise we could be in trouble.donlarson8 wrote:It looks like Blake Levin has committed to Idaho (yes, THAT Idaho) so he won't be coming this weekend.
I expect he never had an offer here except as a walk-on. He wouldn't have ended up at Idaho otherwise.

Is it directly referencing USU? If not, it's just as likely to help us as to hurt us.

Re: January Visits (With Area Codes)
Katoa played in Vegas for the Utah All Star 7 on 7 and was MVP of the tourney. As an outsider watching this Utah team beat the top teams in the West and Katoa dominating Los Angeles, AZ, OR, CO, Nor Cal, WA teams, I think Utah State would be a better fit instead of the party atmosphere at Oregon State.GeorgiaAggie wrote:Take a look at Katoa's dad's twitter feed.
