Yes, defense has been solid.

Might be a little premature but he has my vote for HC

As long as he still runs the defense, then yes I'd be ok with that

Agree. He can't be worse than this.

Does he have a brother that he can promote to OC?

D was staunch, but sadly Aaron Dalton has to be our best defensive player every week due to our inept offense.

Defense played great, IMO. Especially considering they get exactly 4 plays of rest before they have to go back on the field.

Seriously.

Maile is outcoaching Clune who had Vigil, Fackrell, LT, Green, and Evans. He's doing it without Leavitt too. What a stud.

He is legit. I'm going to imagine a future scenario with Jordan Love at QB, he's basically a Chuckie Jr. And our staunch D coached by Maile.

Clune was a HUGE disappointment last year. Maile already looking like a big improvement.

Yes Maile's D is playing good. I was afraid Boise's Oline was going to push us around like they did 2 years ago.
Anthony Williams has been awesome at linebacker.

The have to be proud of themselves for what they've done. Frank is indeed a big time upgrade from last Season, he was a great hire. Props to all the Defensive Coaches. They are the Unit that is holding this Team together now and for the rest of the Season. I thought we'd slip a bit but they're getting better each game and deserve a ton of credit! This is now the 4th Season they are being relied upon to save the (I can't express myself without swearing) of the Aggies. I wonder when we will ever have a decent Offense.

I'm impressed with the progress made by the defense from game to game. Maile has shown that he's very capable.

Yes in title (and pay) but from what I understand, Maile has final say in play calling.

My praise of Maile extends to the whole staff. I've seen improved play in every area and good in game adjustments. The defense never quit, even though they had every right to, until the last drive by Boise when they were gassed and without Williams.

Very happy with Maile and his defensive staff. Matt Wells has once again proven that he can pick a DC. Clune was a bit of a disappointment, but when compared with Wells' offensive decision making he still seems like a home run. Hopefully we can keep Maile here for a long, long time.
