I just want to get on here and apologize to Android and Madmartigan for my victimizing them in an effort to fan the flames of a message board. I stupidly tried to combine a desire to extend the thread with responses to their comments and it fell flat. I was hyperbolic in characterizing their posts and it was in no way what I felt was the truth. At the time, I felt like what I said was just absurd enough that it wouldn't be taken as my true thoughts, but shortly thereafter, I had some misgivings. It should be known that I haven't logged onto the MWC board in almost a year, though I have lurked at times. Those two are definitely guys who aren't what would be characterized as message board "flamers" or hot-heads, and in retrospect, my post inadvertently made the fact that they are level-headed, decent guys out to be a negative trait. I don't want to discourage their style because we need more of that in our lives, and not less. Once again, I apologize.

When I first saw your post my first thought was "man, he must have had a bad day" because it was so out of character. Way to man up. The world needs more of this.

I could see this. If Gary is a head coach again it will likely be at a MW school, but not at USU. He blew it by leaving Wisconsin for Oregon State. Oregon State is such a hard place to win that Nebraska gave their head coaching job to an OSU coach who had a below .500 conference record over 13 years and was coming off a last place Pac 12 finish.

I think we're getting back to that old time forum feeling here. Due to the ridiculous nature of the situation it's time to let it out and have some fun being aggie fans. While the on field product may not be rosey I can still enjoy being with my peeps (people for all fuddy duddies).
