I bet Gary promised them a sit down after the bowl game so they could focus on getting the team ready for the game. I’m guessing we’ll find out early next week.

22, are you sure Woods isn’t the new OC? Gary did say he has learned to bring in the OCs early on in the process so they can then be involved in the assistant hiring.

No, I don't know for certain but I would be shocked if that's the case. I think TJ was a sure thing hire for Gary so he went ahead and brought him in as quickly as possible.

I wouldn’t be surprised if T.J. was the ST coordinator.

I keep telling you guys, Maile was a package deal. Unless he decides to follow Wells if there is an offer, he's staying.

I repeat. None of the Polynesian coaches were ever going to Texas Tech. Ever.

Why not? I'm not challenging your assertion, just wondering why they wouldn't go.

I'm under the impression that none of them were interested in moving to Texas.

I have heard that Frank and others have been contacted by some big schools. It is not a automatic that they will stay if Gary
gives them the opportunity.
gives them the opportunity.

Haven't we already heard this discussion about Spencer Nelson. Bottom Line -- Gary will do what he believes is best for moving Utah State forward under Gary's watch.ViAggie wrote: ↑December 14th, 2018, 11:52 amThat could be - lets hope GA keeps FMAGGIEFIGHT wrote: ↑December 14th, 2018, 11:48 amI have heard that Frank and others have been contacted by some big schools. Re: USU Football Assistant Coach Search 2018
I know it’s a sarcastic question. But, yes, he is. Also, I’ve played some pickup ball with him a few times and he’s a fantastic assist man. Never took a shot. No joke... assists left and right though.

Re: USU Football Assistant Coach Search 2018
Haven’t I already pointed out that it’s apples and potatoes? Frank coached under Gary before, they have a pre-existing relationship, and he’s been apart of good teams, not bad. Frank is a proven commodity, people yearned for Spencer because of his legacy as a player and the mormonism.USUBlue wrote:Haven't we already heard this discussion about Spencer Nelson. So... Outside Linebacker and Corners are still up in the air. Overall, these assistants look to be great hires. Good work, G.A. -
Wish we could have kept Chuckie.

Re: USU Football Assistant Coach Search 2018
The year is 2030. Gary Andersen, off the heels of his fifth conference championship, decides to retire at 65. The next day, Athletic Director YoungBloodAggie announces that University of Houston Offensive Coordinator Charles Keeton has been hired as the new coach of Utah State University.
AD YoungBloodAggie and Coach Keeton are greeted with a fifteen minute standing ovation.
