Re: Recruiting sites exposed
Especially Rivals if you dig into it. 247 didn’t rate the recruit, just listed composite because of Rivals. 247 has now said they won’t list any recruits that they haven’t ranked.

Re: Recruiting sites exposed
That's all on Rivals. Pile of crap. 247 has a composite score, which sounds like it's just automatically taken as an average from 247, Rivals, and ESPN, right? Anyway, it doesn't matter. Good coaches have their own rating system.

Re: Recruiting sites exposed
That is exactly right. BIG difference between the composite average and the actual 247 rating.flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑February 16th, 2019, 5:27 pmThat's all on Rivals. I think it is kind of funny. Definitely shows that the stars aren't telling the whole story. I'm glad we have aggies22 around here to keep us informed.

This one was good but it still had an element of anonymity to it. I'm not sure anything will ever top Kevin Hart and his full-on signing day hoopla....taking it as far as choosing a hat for the "big reveal" in front of his family, peers, and teachers at a school assembly. Only to get exposed and find out he didn't have a single offer from any of those schools. Now that takes some serious level of .

Thanks for the article, wasn't aware of that. Feel bad for the kid in the end. Hope he was able to get that behind him and his life on track.Aglicious wrote: ↑February 19th, 2019, 10:47 amThis one was good but it still had an element of anonymity to it. Per the article he played his freshman year at feather river CC in good old Quincy, CA. Interesting that what really caused him problems were his grades. Nobody at the HS ever checked them.
