Mariner and Repp

Post by OKAggie » September 1st, 2019, 7:12 am

Our Utah grad transfers v. Wake Forest: 13 receptions for 177 yards and 1 (amazing) TD

All Utah receivers v. BYU: 13 receptions for 106 yards and 0 TD

You made the right move, boys. Welcome!

(FWIW: Britain Covey: 1 reception for 4 yards)

So glad to have all 3 of the transfers up here. It also goes to prove the point of how much Utah’s recruiting and depth have improved since being in the PAC-12. Repp and Heninger didn’t even play much at Utah and instantly become 2 of our better players. Utah isn’t the 2012-13 version of itself that we should’ve beat back to back anymore. They’ve evolved beyond that and that’s something Zoobs refuse to acknowledge and why Aggie fans shouldn’t be clamoring to renew our rivalry with them as long as we’re also playing P5 money games.

Refreshing to have them. Especially for a depleted receiving core. SM was a beast!

I had a chance to talk to Nick on Friday, and that dude is solid! He is so happy to be at USU. He plays with heart, and is a great guy. So cool to be able to talk to him and others. We have amazing student athletes at USU.
