Help Me Find A New College Football Team To Support

Hey Guys, I am a former BYU fan, that finds myself without a team. I'm done with mediocrity. I am trying to find a new team, and have begun the process of doing so through a bracket poll.

I don't really give a damn if you decide to cheer for the Aggies or not. There's still plenty of room on this band wagon. Just stop cheering for that garbage loser team from provo.

I'm glad there's still room, as Utah State is way ahead, I believe. I'm perfectly fine if you don't feel the need to participate, obviously. Pretty soon, I may be on here trash talking BYU right along with you, my friend.

Fair weather fandom mixed with delusions of grandeur is what defines BYU. You must stick with your team through the mediocrity in order to enjoy the good times more. That is what makes our fan base conditioned for grit and disappointed, having spent 30 years in the wilderness. If you need any rationalizing to help you stand by your team, know that they are still one of the top 4 Independents in the Nation and will continue to be one of the best 4 Independents for a while!

I can definitely see where you are coming from. You make some good points. I especially love the comment about being one of the top independents. LOL. However, I if it were merely the lack of play from my team, that would be one thing. It is much more than that. (In fact, all-in-all, the team play hasn't been horrible.)

For example, when Utah State lost against WF this last weekend, what did you have left to cheer about? A lot, actually! You still have the potential (and I would argue, inevitable) bowl berth. You still have games against several rivals that could go your way. You even have a decent shot at a conference championship, in my opinion. Having been in your situation a multitude of times, I remember how that was. For eight years I have enjoyed none of that, with the exception of a potential bowl birth (generally to a lower level bowl game). It takes a great deal of the fun out of the situation.

Again, it isn't so much the ups and downs of Wins and Losses. It's so much more than that.

One thing I excel at is trashing byu.

I ALWAYS cheer for whoever is playing BYU. In addition to USU my favorite team this week is Tennessee. Go Volunteers!

Anyone who needs help from a fan group in deciding which team to "adopt" is so lost that I suspect BYU is indeed the very best team for him.

As much as it is tough to be an Aggie fan at times (although lately it has been great) I would still not want to cheer for any other team. The lows are really low, but the highs are strictly beautiful.

I typed "f" in my browser and this site populated the address bar, so I checked in on it. I think he finally realized that people are messing with him as his last blog update was several weeks ago, and the final four are Western Michigan, Navy, Army, and App St.

Jump on Lsu bandwagon, coach o S got that thing going. He just pulled 3 5 stars out of cali and Washington DC.

We will be in the playoff soon actually they say on ESPN we got 40ish percent chance to make the playoff this year.

We were number one on a toughest places to play poll, 130 coaches were polled, it wasnt even close to number 2
