No, he means North Carolina (who lost to Wake) was beating Clemson when he posted that. 14-14 now.

Wake isn’t up by much on Boston College now

I think how good of a player Newman is was the biggest surprise to me when we played them. I wasn’t expecting them to have that good of a QB.

I saw how good he was on game film, at NC State, and didn't know if he'd win the QB battle. Expected our Aggies, especially Love, to play better.

Wake could still go to ACC championship even if they lose one game as long as they beat Clemson. Wouldn’t that be something if Wake won out and made the playoffs!
