In Mountain v. West games this season, Mountain teams went 13-5.

West teams were 3-0 against New Mexico, 2-13 against the other five Mountain teams.

SDSU was the only West team to beat anyone other than UNM (CSU and Wyoming) - the other five were 0-12 against non-UNM Mountain teams.

Before the season we all thought that playing SDSU/FSU/UN would be a tougher task than UNLV/SJSU/UH from the previous two-year cycle. Not so much, as it turned out. (We swap those three teams with Boise every two years, so we never have a common opponent for tie-breaking purposes.)
