We are getting zero cred for a team holding a P5 scalp and a decisive win over a very solid FCS team.

Has any D1 team that’s played a top 15 FCS school fared better than we did? I submit not really:

CSU got smashed by SDSU
JSU beat Florida St.
Montana St. very nearly beat Wyoming
Montana beat Washington
Eastern Washington beat UNLV

I guess Utah beat Weber by close to the same margin we beat ND.

Massey has a different story. And 51 total points puts you right at at o/u of 50.5

He's got us winning 6 more games, I'd take that after last year, but with this team I think that's under performing, could be wrong though.

Surprised that our odds of winning at AF (44%) are worse than beating Boise at home (47%). Maybe it's just me but I see our chances of beating AF to be significantly better than beating Boise, even though Boise isn't a long shot by any means. I'd put AF at 50-55%, and Boise at 35-40% based on the first 2 weeks.

Massey leans heavy on home/road games. I think too heavy. Just look at the Wyoming game and new Mexico the next week. They have virtually the exact same odds and out come. But 2 very different teams. It has been a bit since I read his formula but my guess is if we played AFA at home we would be about 55% and expect score of 30 - 27 for USU.

It's strange. Our matchup predictor shows us winning or that we're basically an even match. Curious to know if Oddsshark, Vegas, or ESPN's matchup predictor is most predictive of outcomes:
