Coffee Please?
It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that there was no coffee on sale at the game last night... Give me an f'ing break with the hundred person lines for hot chocolate with no coffee in site. Some of us want some hot, black, cocoa goodness during a cold a$$ game, as God intended.

Re: Coffee Please?
I don't drink coffee, but I fully don't understand how on this Earth, we don't have a coffee vendor in stadium?
We are NOT BYU. That is truly vexing and I had no idea. Someone could make some serious money but being the coffee vendor. I know most of the Athletic Dept. drinks coffee so what is the hold up here??

Re: Coffee Please?
I'd buy coffee every game if it were available. Caffe Ibis does a tent at the gardener's market. Would love to see them at games. Since it's available everywhere else I've watched the Aggies play (except for BYU), it's a bad look for us to not have any at Maverik.

Re: Coffee Please?
There was coffee available in the club level last night. Really odd it would be there and not on the main concourse.

Re: Coffee Please?
Last year the Maverik concession stand in the south endzone sold coffee. Also there was coffee in the champions club suites available. I don't think there is anything saying we can't have it. But no vendors have stepped up

Having hot chocolate and not having coffee is worth complaining about…. And embarrassing for USU.

Re: Coffee Please?
Literally billions of people love the stuff across the globe. It seems reasonable that USU sell coffee at their games. The demand is there and thus it will benefit the University to sell it. It doesn't seem anymore crazy to want coffee at the games than it would to want Coke or Pepsi if those weren't being sold.ManitobaAggie wrote: ↑November 21st, 2021, 6:33 pmThe stuff people complain about is amazing to me.

Agreed. I don’t like hot chocolate, but I froze my tail off and needed any hot beverage I wasn’t going to have to wait an entire quarter for.

It is a valid suggestion but there’s about a thousand ways I would make this suggestion besides a public message board.

Re: Coffee Please?
I’m sure plenty of Wyoming fans would have wanted some coffee as well. I think this is a good suggestion. Although I wonder if they’ve had it and it wasn’t a good enough seller to stay around? Hard to imagine because it’s so cheap and sold at a premium.bpd wrote:Having hot chocolate and not having coffee is worth complaining about…. And embarrassing for USU.

Re: Coffee Please?
A....a thousand ways? Name 25. Not having coffee in a stadium crowd in the thousands only reflects the provincial culture. Probably tons of diet Pepsi and Coke available. And in Winnipeg I find coffee available just everywhere! This topic related to fan comfort is certainly appropriate on a public message board. Why do you think it inappropriate?ManitobaAggie wrote: ↑November 21st, 2021, 8:10 pmIt is a valid suggestion but there’s about a thousand ways I would make this suggestion besides a public message board.

Re: Coffee Please?
A public message board seems like a good place for it. Fans should share their experience about Maverick good and bad. Many on here bring up attendance and wishing it was higher. Well improving the fan experience is a big way to do that.ManitobaAggie wrote: ↑November 21st, 2021, 8:10 pmIt is a valid suggestion but there’s about a thousand ways I would make this suggestion besides a public message board.

No Diet Coke at Romney? Ok we at least know the lack of coffee isn't a cultural thing. Drinking Diet Coke is basically the 11th commandment in Cache Valley.

I think they are wonderful. I have never tried the beef dog, but the polish is awesome. Put some of their bbq sauce, kraut and jalapenos and it is a little slice of heaven. The buns are really good as well.slcagg wrote: ↑November 21st, 2021, 9:52 pmAre jdawgs as good as advertised?Aggie84025 wrote: ↑November 21st, 2021, 7:51 pmThe things people stress about make laugh. I got coffee during the first game at the south end zone maverick. Went back the next two games and they laughed at me so I stopped.TheAKAggie wrote:There used to be coffee, my guess is they sold 2 cups a game stopped doing it.BigBlueAggie wrote:I don't drink coffee, but I fully don't understand how on this Earth, we don't have a coffee vendor in stadium?

The first game it took 10 min to get the coffee. Not because they had to make it but because the kids working didn’t know how to pour it. I’m like, just pull that handle down and it comes out. They still had to get one of the managers to do it.

No mobile starbucks? Seems odd... Is that a thing? I know for a fact that all the chain restaurants have mobile units, including Inn n out and Habit, you'd think Starbucks could do the same, it's just hot water and coffee beans.

this is correct. my 10 year old helped himself to some "hot chocolate" there Saturday night. he said it tasted awful, and it turns out he had filled his cup with coffee instead. bet he doesn't make that mistake twice, haha!Intermeddler wrote: ↑November 21st, 2021, 4:56 pmThere was coffee available in the club level last night. Starkbucks does something similar in Smith's (Kroger) stores. But for a local Cache Valley company, no one does it better than Caffe Ibis.
