Anybody driving to Colorado next Thursday?
This may be a long shot and I'm not sure if it's kosher to start this type of thread, but is anybody driving or interested in driving to the Denver area next Thursday? Thinking about catching the Rockies game Thursday night and then the Aggie game Friday, so that would mean being in Denver by 6ish Thursday night.
I've already got accommodations in Denver, just trying to decide if flying or driving is the best option! Could be nice to split gas and have good company on the drive. I won't be leaving the Denver area until Sunday night after the Broncos game but can fly home if we don't go in my car. Feel free to PM me!

Utah State Hey Aggies all the way! Go Aggies! Go Aggies! Hey! Hey! Hey!

The staff has been preparing for Air Force since the spring.

I love the sounds of that. I also like playing AFA first thing in the season. Get those shin busters out of the way early!

I always consider the trip to Colorado Springs at least a little as I have a sister up there. I don't think it was going to happen for me, but now I've got a concert at the same time as the game (media blackout until I can watch the replay), so that seals it. I probably need to prioritize getting out to a Wyoming and CSU game before going back to AF, anyway.

Air Force is only an hour further than Fort Collins.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑September 8th, 2023, 10:46 amI always consider the trip to Colorado Springs at least a little as I have a sister up there. By helicopter, maybe. Driving from Logan or SLC it's 2.5 hours further. It takes a good hour just to get through greater Denver, more if there's anyone else on the road.aggies22 wrote: ↑September 8th, 2023, 11:55 amAir Force is only an hour further than Fort Collins.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑September 8th, 2023, 10:46 amI always consider the trip to Colorado Springs at least a little as I have a sister up there. I sure hope they haven’t overlooked the FCS opponent this week with a focus on Air Force. In all seriousness, though, do you have any insight into how prepared they are for Idaho State? After last year I am actually a little concerned.

There is no way in heII the Aggies are looking past the Ben-gals after last years cream o'Weber debacle.

One week is not enough time to prepare for AF. The team will spend time in both spring and fall camps dedicated to defending the option. That being said no way in hell has Blake spent practice time on AF this week. The team will be focused for the Bengals no one wants to relive the Weber moment which was one of the lowest I have witnessed.

I wish we had focused on beating boise since the spring. It’s been far too long…
