MW App is free on FIrestick -that's how I watch. It's also on the web for free.

They didn’t say anything negative about the Aggies but there was tons of dialogue about BYU. It was quite unnecessary.

You probably need to reread my post. I never said they were negative about USU. I did however say they talked a lot about Utah and BYU.

What part was tough to listen to? Was it when they talked about what a great school USU is or telling kids they should consider going here if they want a good college experience? That sure is rough to hear such things about the Aggies.

No one said they were negative about the Aggies, but if that were a Michigan broadcast and they had spent as much time talking about Ohio State and Michigan State, they'd be fired the next day.

I honestly can't believe these guys are long time sports broadcasters in the state and knew so little about USU. Everything seemed like a surprise to them and it made them sound so unprepared and uneducated as they marveled about an actual college town and traditions.

I had to mute them by mid-3rd qtr. I couldn't take a single story more from grandpa Alema telling us about his glory years at byu.

Right! I agree. I thought it was great and the fact that a couple of "main steam" Salt Lake guys were on the call, makes it better. Maybe the 70+ points will get them talking. If nothing else, sounds like they both enjoyed their experiences in Logan and talked about it extensively, in a positive way. WIN!. A win for Logan and USU. But I'm sure there are some that are not happy, so, (I can't express myself without swearing) away...

The usu stream was the KJZZ stream at least it was for the announcing of the game. The online stream from usu didn’t really have commercials other than for recycling.

As one example they literally spent like 2-3 minutes talking about how BYU always had great pairs of tight ends and how they miss those days. They mentioned 2 tight ends i never heard of and then were like Coats played with Harline, that Harline play was so good! 4th and 18!

Then they’d go on a 10 minute tangent about Hawaii and bring it back to how BYU would travel to Hawaii when they were in the WAC.

Look, i tend to be harsh on sports announcers. They tend to be the dumbest people in media and point out the most obvious thing. Tonight’s FSU announcer said FSU is #4, I bet at the end of the season they hope to be #4 or better so that they can be in the playoffs” as if that’s some amazing revelation. I can be harsh by calling that guy a moron, I get that.

But going on tangents about a completely different school and even a completely different state? That’s being unprepared. That’s ignoring your audience.
