That dude would've converted for two... Glad it ended the way it did. Crazy game.

Yeah UConn should've gone for two. We couldn't stop it.travelingagg wrote: ↑September 30th, 2023, 1:36 pmThat dude would've converted for two... Glad it ended the way it did. Crazy game.

USU football has been on the good side of luck for the past several years. USU basketball has not

Re: Hallelujah where is the Tylenol.
It was just nice watching a TV broadcast where the broadcasters had done a little preparation for their job, knew a little bit about both teams (their players, the offense they run, their tendencies, etc.), and didn't spend half the time talking about their former playing careers and giggling about their inside jokes. Recent games have sounded like two buddies were pulled from the crowd and handed a roster and asked to broadcast the game.

Someone called it early on in chat when we were going into our sweet prevent offense mode by running it up the gut every play. They said, #97 Stafford is going to win this game for them on a 2pt conversion after they score a TD. Thank goodness Mora is a bonehead and maybe got a tiny bit scared after we sort of stopped him for a moment on the TD run. Maybe that small stop for a moment gave Mora just enough pause to not go for the 2pt from a couple of yards further out.

I think we would have stopped it, he was a beast for one yard though.

Re: Hallelujah where is the Tylenol.
It was a fun game to attend. Sat by Jalen Royals mom the 2nd half. Awesome to see her excitement. Love the resiliency of the team. Wish the offense started faster as the defense started strong. Cooper played awesome. My only complaint is the last 2 offensive drives going way too conservative on the FG and then the last drive. Not saying we need to throw every down but go for the throat instead of playing not to lose. Overall super proud of the victory.

Re: Hallelujah where is the Tylenol.
The announcers thought that the reason they didn't was cause they were worried that we would then strike back with a few long passes to beat them with a field goal in 40 seconds, whereas we would be conservative and content with OT if they just tied it up.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑September 30th, 2023, 1:37 pmYeah UConn should've gone for two.
