It's honestly mind blowing how many games Ike Larsen has ended/won for us. The dude is just a sophomore. Really what an impact player on the defensive and special teams side of the ball.

I just expect him to do something superhuman now. It’s crazy. The shoestring tackle was even bigger than the interception. He’s exceptional.

I pretty much expect it at this point. Absolutely a baller. Even better he’s a Cache Valley kid. Keep it rolling Ike!

He did the exact same things in high school. He basically single handedly won the game.

He is gonna make some nice cheddar next season.

Are there any more details to the rumors that he’s already got his post-season move lined up?

Odds that he is on the team next year?

I have it on good authority that we spud stop recruiting high school players like Ike. I mean who wants aguy like Ike in the team when he is just going to play for 2 years before moving on. We would probably be better off without him.

There are exceptions to everything. Plus everyone is saying continue to recruit kids that would most likely stick around, such as locals.

Having Ike for 1 year is better than not having him at all. He has been amazing! Get him an NiL deal!

Ike has been awesome. The last 2 defensive plays were awesome.

The whole debate started because Ike went to the Utah game. Guys won't leave for p5 programs unless they are good enough to make a early impact.

Curious how you know what defensive alignment was called for on both TDs. Those could’ve been called man coverage and not cover 2. I haven’t reviewed the plays closely so I don’t know.

You are correct, I don't know what was called on either play. Just my assumption based player location and movement.

I don't know the calls but Ike mentioned on the post game the TD in overtime was his mistake and not the corners. Not sure if he was just taking the blame but that is what he mentioned.

No it was his coaches fault 100 percent. When it became 1st and 30 he needed to go to cover 3 and should have called timeout if all 3 safeties weren’t standing at the 5 yard line. That is a bull (I can't express myself without swearing) lazy (I can't express myself without swearing) job. He paved the way for one mistake to burn his team.

Ike is awesome.

He could also be a lot better if he had a little more discipline and didn’t gable so much. He makes big plays because of it but he also is often out of position or not sticking with his responsibility in the pass game and it leads to big plays by the other team. We saw it several times last night, even the first TD they scored he was locked in on the run and the TE went right past him for an easy TD. If he could add this to his game he would be one of the best in the business.
