Speaking of Baylor and Bo’s, I see Bo Tate decommitted from Baylor yesterday. Is he someone we would still be interested in? @aggies22
I would be surprised if we were in the running. I bet he ends up at byu, utah or California.
I take this back. I just saw a tweet from his Dad that said byu and utah haven't been in contact with Bo for over two years. They are out! I still stand by California as a possibility though.

And all 3 of those would be a massive mistake for him. He’s coming off an ACL injury. If I were his dad, I’d encourage him to Utah State/Bozo State/SDSU etc.

The chance he gets a legit look at those schools is very very slim.
He’s really really really good. I don’t think we’d stand a chance. He will go higher than the MW.

I know he’s good. He’s also coming off an ACL injury. The P5 world is a lot less forgiving and patient. Utah and BYU haven’t even offered him yet. They’ve already said he’s not good enough for them.

He should have a chip on his shoulder and come to Logan to tell them to kick rocks.

If my kid wasn’t a priority for the terminate schools, the last thing I’d do is simp for them if I got an offer from them late
I'd LOVE to get him, but an ACL injury won't scare anybody off. He will be ready for fall camp next year and as a true freshman, byu, Utah, or Cal, won't let that scare them off.

I wouldn't let my kids play for byu or Utah either, but I'm an Aggie and that's different than Bo Tate and his family.

And half his teammates are going to byu and Utah.
We got his HCs kid coming to Logan. I agree chances are slim, but our staff should be doing a full court press.

I do wonder if Sia, Maile, or Motuapuaka can learn to play center.
Ideally on paper, we have all 3 playing.

It does seem to me that Blake is trying to build a relationship with the Corner Canyon coach. Definitely helps that we have his kid an FBS chance.

The problem with most High School Programs in the state is they think Logan is 12 hours away, and see Utah state as a backup option ONLY if BYU/Utah don’t offer.

I thought the last decade would prove these coaches wrong with how many kids that we flipped into NFL draft picks.

I think DJ is doing a great job working to change that perception, but in a lot of cases USU is better for kids than Utah or BYU but they take the “Utah/BYU” offer to get buried in the depth chart, when they could’ve come to Logan and been a priority.

And then the coaches get mad when Utah State doesn’t offer the kids that aren’t FBS level, and say “Utah State doesn’t recruit Utah enough”

Interesting that Trey signed with Pitt as a TE but turned into a Tackle. We sure could use some help at Tackle.

How big would it be for two different older brothers of current brothers that went to P5 schools to transfer and come join USU?

If that happens then to me that speaks huge volumes about Blake Anderson and the team culture he has built.

Really good point. As much as Blake confuses us fans sometimes with decisions, having a positive culture is more important now than ever

Steve was pretty complimentary when Gary took over of the potential our program had to be successful. Also, when Gary left for Wisconsin, he tweeted telling us to have faith that our program would continue to be successful.

Good that we now got that corner cover instead letting other schools completely corner that group of recruits.

Speaking of Baylor and Bo’s, I see Bo Tate decommitted from Baylor yesterday. Is he someone we would still be interested in? @aggies22
I would be surprised if we were in the running. I bet he ends up at byu, utah or California.

Blake should be camped out on his front lawn until he commits.

It does seem to me that Blake is trying to build a relationship with the Corner Canyon coach. Definitely helps that we have his kid an FBS chance.
The previous coaching staff wouldn't even set foot in Corner Canyon.
Which is insane, because it's not like GA didn't have success getting Kjars kids when he was at Jordan during GAs first time around. Alex Hart, Tyler Larsen, feels like their may have been some others too.

Steve’s never had a good thing to say about Utah State. If his kid came here, and could have helped then great. Good luck at Stanford.
