Our offense could have been better BUT

the list of teams that surrendered more yardage and points to our opponents than we did would be MUCH smaller than the list of teams that had smaller offensive outputs of yardage and points against our opponents that we did.

We did score more on GSU that three of their opponents, which is still pretty bad, but that's three more teams than there were that surrendered more to GSU than we did. As another example, we finished the season as the team that scored the most points on James Madison but that wasn't good enough thanks to our defense.

We allowed almost all our opponents to finish above their season average. I would like see how often our offense failed to score our opponent's season average on them. Probably more than we liked, but not nearly as often as the defense surrendered above the season average.
