Barstool Arizona Bowl

Post by signalwar » December 30th, 2023, 5:41 pm

Has anyone been watching Wyoming in the bowl? I guess it's not affiliated with espn.
It seems barstool has made this bowl a ton of fun! Decent boring game too.

But did they have the mascot cheerily and dramatically off itself and then eat it while it smiles at you with it’s one eye starting at you?

Very, very fun watch. Also on the broadcast they keep talking about this being Craig Bull’s last game. Was not aware of that.

Wyoming doesn't seem to have any trouble getting big linemen. Why does BA have a problem with that in Logan?

The commentators were horrid and so is barstool in general.
Still wish we could go to that bowl more often because the location is the best.

Utah State is the only school in the conference that has problems finding size. I wonder why

I have plenty of size (if you know what I mean), so it definitely isn’t a Logan thing.

People that hate Barstool definitely hate how well done this bowl was. The Barstool Bowl would be a considerable upgrade in terms of overall experience from the Potato, New Mexico, or Hawaii Bowls.

That's funny, most Wyoming fans would prefer a passing attack over Bohl.

They had at least three people in the booth, taking over each other and not really conversing with each other. It was like three different topics all being spoken out loud at the same time.

I was surprised when one of those three said, “what an idiot!” About a Toledo player who had been called for a late hit.

I know. I read their board all the time. They play so physical and fast at the LOS. Something we haven’t been able to do in a long time.

Hopefully with the coaching changes this improves a lot.

What’s Wyoming DC doing?

Winning Bohl games is not enough for them

The announcers were hommering bad for Toledo the entire game. Very annoying

I'd like something in between USU and Wyoming, a more physical and disciplined USU even if it sacrificed some of the passing game would be fine with me.

Funny thing is that both coaches have almost the exact same record (Blake 23-17, Bohl 23-16) over the last three years. Blake has a conference championship to show for it and Bohl has two beatdowns of USU.

Pick your poison, I guess.

were they? I know one, and maybe two of them mentioned that they had bet on WY -4.5
