Re: New DL coach
Finau and his background at Utah seemed like someone who would be good at recruiting, but maybe he has shortcomings at teaching fundamentals making him partly to blame for our defense's performance last year.

Re: New DL coach
Sounds like he’ll also have overall run fit responsibilities. That was an area of the defense that could definitely have used a shake up!GeorgiaAggie wrote: ↑January 14th, 2024, 8:39 pmhttps://footballscoop.com/news/blake-an ... e-makeover

Re: New DL coach
The last guy that spent time at Buffalo was no bueno. Also, why do assistants from Utah suck. You’d think those guys would be good. Ena was a disaster here and I thought he was a brilliant hire at the time.

Re: New DL coach
I think Whitt and Scalley are good enough to mask coaching deficiencies on the defensive side.

While Douglas isn't 100% confirmed, Tevita Finau is definitely out. I'm curious if Al Lapuaho got a call?

If it's on FootballScoop, isn't that pretty much confirmed?
I would love Al back, but Douglas seems like a nice get.

While FootballScoop does good work , OCCASIONALLY what they report doesn't always come through.LarryTheAggie wrote: ↑January 15th, 2024, 6:59 amIf it's on FootballScoop, isn't that pretty much confirmed?

When I inquired yesterday, I was told no coaching moves could be 100% confirmed yet.
