Transfers

Post by RogerAndersen » April 19th, 2024, 1:54 pm

With the open and unlimited nature of transfers nowadays, I suppose it is just silly for either side to feel at all bad about any student athlete that chooses to transfer up, down, or laterally at any time. That is the system that the NCAA has set up and is asking everyone to deal with.

The kids have open options now. Overall, I do not think it is a bad thing for any kid to go pursue their dreams. Whether that has anything to do with their sport, the coaches, the conference, the competition level, etc.

Things will start to change a little bit in 2026 because by then, all of the COVID-19-year players will have finally exhausted their eligibility.
