I found a chart of every FBS teams 12 most played opponents. The first 11 were teams you would think of, but as a test, you can guess our 12th most played opponent. You probably won't guess that one.

Is it a Big West school that no longer has football?

Is it Denver? I seem to recall we played them a lot before DI-AA/FCS came along.

I'll give a few more.
1. The opponent of BYU that you would be least likely to guess would be their 11th most frequent opponent.
2. The opponents of the Utes you would be least likely to guess would be their 9th and 11th most played.
3. The opponent of Air Force you would be least likely to get correct would be their 12th.
4. The opponent of Arkansas State you would be least likely to get would be their 6th.
5. The opponent of James Madison you would be least likely to get would be their 12th.
6. The opponents of Tulsa you would be least likely to get would be their 9th and 11th.
7. The opponents of Arizona you would be least likely to get would be their 2nd and 11th.
8. The opponent of Kansas you would be least likely to get would be their 10th.
9. The opponent of Ohio State you would be least likely to get would be their 12th.
10. The opponent of Washington you would be least likely to get would be their 8th.
11. The opponent of Washington State you would be least likely to get would be their 12th.
12. The opponent of Florida you would least likely get would be their 12th.

This school does still have football. I was surprised as well to find out that we have played that school more frequently than any of those Big West foes.

Another clue. We are that school's 11th most frequent opponent. The other opponent of that school that nobody would guess would be their 12th.

Nebraska, its been a while but seems we used to get killed by them a lot.
