Re: CJ Tiller
I was going to say something similar. Throws from all sorts of different arm angles and throws the ball pretty effortlessly down the field. He's mobile "enough" to extend plays and looks to get the ball down the field the whole time instead of panic scrambling for a few yards.ViAggie wrote: ↑May 3rd, 2024, 3:43 pmGun slinger that kind of reminds me of JLove.Aglicious wrote: ↑May 3rd, 2024, 3:15 pmWould definitely help fill a class gap that we have.

BTW, does anyone else get sick of hearing how JLove learned to throw the ball from Aaron Rodgers? Every side arm or off platform type throw the commentary is always how he looks just like Rodgers and learned it all from him. LMAO. Have they even seen college film on Jordan? He threw the ball from all sorts of angles and against his body all the time. His arm talent was a huge part of why NFL scouts took notice of him in the first place....but suddenly we're supposed to believe he learned this skill under the great tutelage of the mighty Aaron Rodgers??
Re: CJ Tiller
Much, MUCH higher on this guy than any of the other rumored QBs we've been looking at. I'd be pretty hyped about this, especially since he has four years of eligibility remaining.

Re: CJ Tiller
Be nice to pick up CJ. I know he struggled last year against UCLA but he was thrown into a bad situation for the bowl game with having not played the whole year. He is talented and would be a nice pickup to come in and learn this year and set himself for competing for a starting job next season.

Re: CJ Tiller
We offered him in high school and were VERY high on him then. Not much has changed in a year. We are still VERY interested in him and hope he leaves by giving a verbal commitment. I'll know more by Sunday.
We MAY have two more commitments on the horizon and there are more than a handful of official visits over the next 5 or 6 days.

Re: CJ Tiller
Boise State QBs have a tendency to do very well after leaving Boise. Hopefully he comes and keeps that trend alive.

Re: CJ Tiller
Love could make every throw except the quick out.
Hopefully this means we’re passing on connover. He sucks.

Re: CJ Tiller
Great if we land him, grander if we also land a starter quality ilb
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Not nearly as impressive as the 2-7 record he had as a starter.LarryTheAggie wrote: ↑May 4th, 2024, 1:45 amI am not sure if you are serious or not....Hoot wrote: ↑May 3rd, 2024, 8:43 pmI don’t know about that… See Bachmeier, HankLarryTheAggie wrote: ↑May 3rd, 2024, 4:45 pmBoise State QBs have a tendency to do very well after leaving Boise. Re: CJ Tiller
Why don't we recruit more in the Phoenix area?
Eastern Pheonix metro area is in some ways an extension of Utah.
Tiller is from Gilbert.
