I've seen some crazy things happen at the Spectrum. But I've never seen it singlehandedly tear a team apart. Nice work!

I thought he was just talking about the student section showing him love calling for him to come back into the game. i think he liked the MVP chant!

Pre-game they said we recruited both on the same weekend. We chose Rector. Looks like the right choice!!!

He told his coach to F off right to his face. That's why he sat the last 12 minutes. And rightly so. The way that coach lit into those players I wouldn't be surprised if Telfair was done for that mutiny. As soon as he did that to the coach the coach just didn't acknowledge his presence at all anymore and he sat at the end of the bench for the rest of the game.

Telfair was in tears on the bench. Chalk yet another one up for opposing players who have been brought to tears in the Spectrum.

After putting the whooping on Bristol on Wednesday, Razadon Taylor from Bristol posted a tweet saying "this sh*t might not be for me"

I may have misread between the lines of his twitter rant. One of his tweets said something along the lines of "I'll be ready for what's next for me" and the fact that he retweeted that his coach "disrespected" him made me think something had happened

Glad we chose Rector.

I told you guys... He was crying on the bench last night. I thought he'd be suspended for telling his coach to F Off, but I didn't think he would quit. I wonder if he was encouraged to quit.

I feel pretty bad about the whole thing. It sucks for them and this kid. This was a great opportunity from him. What made it even worse for him I'm sure is that he probably really wanted USU but then was resigned to pocatello.

My guess is cooler heads will prevail there and he will be back. Evans was right sitting him for the night.

That is too bad. I was upset that Telfair did not go back in the game. It was fun watching him and Rector go out it.

The only source stating this is the Hurd twitter account. I don't think they understand the meaning of "officially". SBD: if you have another source, please share it.

Nothing on ISU Bball twitter or their athletics website. Nothing from the Poky papers. Nothing on their message board.

Yeah I'd be surprised of Telfair would give up on his college career like that. I'm wondering if this board is the Hurd's source.

No I saw their tweet. If this board is their source then I feel bad for perpetuating this when I clearly could have misconstrued his tweets ... some of which he has deleted now

who knows maybe the HURD and SBD can get under the skin of Emery and Mika for the ybu game. Maybe Emery can get baited into throwing a punch again in slc. Wishful thinking I know.

I just have to say regardless of what happens to Telfair, (he needs to grow up, imho and be a man). I hope this starts the comeback of the Spectrum.

I love the creativeness of our fans. 2 posters I loved from the ybu game that provoked the letter, "hide your kids hide your wife, Davies is coming to town" and "Davies, I've had better".

When rolling our fans are the best hands down.

I just have to reminisce a little here, the loudest game I've personally ever been to was the Nevada game; 1:21 my wife went home with a migraine because it was so loud.

The Nevada game was awesome. #2 was the Utah game where Tai had the put back for the win. That was exceptionally loud too.

I miss those days... They will be back though. I think the loudest game I remember was when Chaz Spicer hit the 3 to beat the U. I just remember thinking that it was so loud that it seemed silent. I believe Spicer hit 3 game winners that year.

The loudest I remember was the game vs UCSB when Cardell Butler caught the oop. The place exploded. That and the Nevada game already mentioned.
