Sampson Davis High school

There is a Sampson kid at Davis high school that is as pure a high school shooter that I’ve personally witnessed at the high school level. His dad is from cache valley. The kid is a junior and has nearly 90 3’s on the season. Against the team I help coach, he is approx 12 for 17 from 3. He is very skinny, probably 6’2ish, does not create his own shot at this point, but needs very little space or time to get a shot off. Incredible range as well. Anyone else watched him? I hope that he is on USU’s radar. Who would be the best person to try and get info to at USU, not that they would listen, but would at least like to try.

From what I understand, the staff continues to evaluate and maintain a profile in the recruiting game but as of earlier this week there are no open offers for the 2019 class.

Still think we could use Malik Porter here at CSI. He can guard all 5 positions, runs like a deer, jumps like a Jardine, plays tough on D, shares the ball and can score it.
