What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
Sorry everyone,
I just had a co-worker talking to me about the game and the after math. He mentioned that the MW came out with a report stating it was Nevada and USU wasn't in the wrong. I haven't seen that. Is there anything that has come from this? We are being blasted in the media all over the US. I'm just wondering if something finally came out or not?
I think it's really unfair to the Aggies and the fans that this is going on if we aren't in the wrong. I'm so annoyed, we should go after the wife for her TWEET. It's such a BS fall back. "They used the N..... word" Sorry to bring it up again. I'm just curious if some report did come out and I missed it. I MISS A LOT
Thanks everyone.

Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
MW basically said this:
The crowd was handled fine, the problem in the tunnels occurred because of mistakes made by players and staff of both teams. Each team will handle their own mistakes internally

Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
The conclusion is that USU is, for the time being, in 1st place in the MWC and beat a ranked team for the first time since 2007. Everything else ended up being conference said court storm did not cause tunnel scene and that both schools have to internally discipline their people. The end.

How does Hair even stand up?
Funny that all the allegations continue to be about our fans. We had one assistant that called out their coaching staff. They didn’t like it and retaliated. Caroline was overly emotional and snapped over nothing.

Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
I honestly think he took the right course on the amount of discipline in this case. We have gotten a little too overblown on this episode around here. I agree with others on here though that he should have done some more damage control for the reputation of our wonderful USU.

Overblown? Do you realize how close this was to a all out melee?sam tingey wrote: ↑March 5th, 2019, 8:35 amI honestly think he took the right course on the amount of discipline in this case. Will she run as a Democrat Socialist antiSemite? Or perhaps a Socialist Democrat antiMormon? I'd definitely vote for her if she were merely running on the Racebaiting Ignoramus platform. At least that's honest.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
Yes i do. But i am not so worried about it. guys fight. i don't really understand why but they do. It isn't anything really new or out of the ordinary. We all joke here about fights in church ball, this would be the same vein for me. the fact that there wasn't a fight at all except for our illustruous fire extinguisher and Caroline, lets me know that all this is a little overblown. This whole episode was about two steps above a baseball "brawl" and 50 steps below a normal hockey exchange.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑March 5th, 2019, 8:40 amOverblown? Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
I kinda feel like this whole thing was overblown from the get-go. Our reputation isn't sullied. I'd bet that almost nobody else cares or will even remember this is a week. Let's be honest. We are a mid-major program from Utah in a mid-major conference. Very few people are even paying attention. I mean, would you really give two (I can't express myself without swearing) about this if Davidson and VCU (or Old Domion and Western Kentucky) got into a near scuffle after a physical game? Would it affect your opinion of those universities? No?

Thank you 78, loved your observations. On another note I am underwhelmed by the lack of push back from our Utah State Athletic Department and the President of our institution. The early headlines asserting race baiting and near riotous conditions indicting our school should have received a full nuclear powered counter thrust.

Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
I'm with Mr. Tingey on this one. It really doesn't even matter. Take out the racial crap and false narratives about our court storming preparation, and we have a high emotions game that ended in some of that emotion spilling over. No one on the court really even knew it was an issue. The celebration continued.sam tingey wrote: ↑March 5th, 2019, 9:32 amYes i do. Re: What is the conclusion from the MW investigation
It was concluded that stupid stuff happen that was away from the fans. My guess the flopping got on our nerves in already intense game including the team then Muss lack of handshakes for assistant coaches caused a chain reaction. Nevada got a sore loser culture too.
