Best mid-major player in the country...
No linky because there’s a paywall, but Sam Merrill was No. 1 on The Athletic’s Top 20 mid-major players that was published today. Nemi was No. 13.

Was Queta in the list? Also, where did Yoeli land and was Jordan Ford from St Mary’s on the list as well?

Here's the link for those with an Athletic subscription (or those who would like one) so you don't have to go searching for the article like I did:

Could anyone with a subscription post what the article said about both Sam and Neemy or Utah State in general. I do not have a subscription and would like to see what they said.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑October 28th, 2019, 2:13 pmHere's the link for those with an Athletic subscription (or those who would like one) so you don't have to go searching for the article like I did:

Best mid-major player in the country...
1. Sam Merrill, 6-foot-5 senior guard, Utah State
What do you need someone to do? Swish a 3, make the perfect pass, crash the boards, grab a key steal, sink late free throws … yep, Merrill’s your guy. He was the unanimous pick for Mountain West Conference player of the year and could become just the third Aggie to be named an All-American. He finished ninth nationally last season in win shares, according to sports-reference. Add it all up, as he does in the box score every night, and he’s the best mid-major player in the country.
13. Neemias Queta, 6-foot-11 sophomore center, Utah State
Portugal, where Queta is from, created the melancholy style of singing known as Fado. Opposing players often sing the blues when they try to attack Queta at the rim. The 6-11 leaper is one of the best rim protectors in college basketball with an emerging offensive game. He may be slowed to start the season by a minor knee injury, however.
