NAR: SDSU blows out Boise at home
SDSU looked really good in Boise today. The L for Boise puts them all the way back to 5th. As a side note, the refs let them play as they have let USU and their opponents play the last few games. I wonder if it's a deliberate move by the conference to get the teams used to how tourney refs will call things.

And the difference between SDS and USU? We led BSU by 18 points with 4 minutes left and lost. SDS led BSU by 13 with 4 minutes left and their lead swelled to 22 with 1 minute left and they glided in.

SDSU has been playing very very well in the second halves of games lately. I would like us to get there too but we don't have the offense to pull it off as of late.

SDSU is looking legit. I just hope our tournament hopes don’t weigh solely on having to beat them..

And I’m hoping SDSU’s season ends like Virginia’s. I won’t tell you what year though.

Re: NAR: SDSU blows out Boise at home
We want it to end the way 2019 did! And NOT the way 2018 did!
SDSU's season ending the way 2019 did would help recruiting for the conference. Remember the talk of how we were overwhelmed by Washington's athleticism as well as that of other P5 teams. Well, SDSU winning would help us be able to get guys, with the overwhelming athleticism, to choose us over the P5 teams so that we go to battle in the dance with at least some of the overwhelming guys on our side. While we're never going to beat out the bluebloods in recruiting, it would be nice to beat out the schools that get to go to the dance with a losing conference record cause of their affiliation.
It ending the way 2018 did? Well, that's only going to make kids more likely to choose the smaller schools from that conference over us. It happening against Montana for instance would hurt us in battles with Weber.

I would hope so but I don't recall being able to recruit better athletes during the UNLV glory days.GameFAQSAggie wrote: ↑February 16th, 2020, 6:07 pmWe want it to end the way 2019 did! And NOT the way 2018 did!
