I rewatched that and it wasn’t even close 3” at least away from line. Very bad call

Someone needs to be punished for that one.

Someone should be fired for that call. A blind monkey would have seen that better.

We need to get the full video clip...one of the worst calls I have seen given the clear view and close proximity of the ref that made the call.

More proof that many of these calls are anticipation calls instead of a reflection of what actually happens.

Anticipation or reactionary to crowd, players, or coaches.

I was screaming at the tv. It wasn’t even close. And it wasn’t just the 2 points being waived off. We were in desperate need of something good to happen and that play might have sparked us to regain our composure. A really poor call and a big one at that time in the game.

That is an absolutely horrible call. If the ref doesn't see it, he shouldn't call it, and he obviously didn't see it.

Even though Darell Garretson left us, another discussion for another place and time, he for sure would have a cow over THAT call!

I yelled at the tube as well, but I assumed that I missed it... insane call.

I don’t understand how tennis can have nearly instantaneous replay for a similar call (line out), but we can’t run nearly simultaneous review of a call like that in basketball.

It would make the game take too long if they were allowed to review every out of bounds call.

This brings back memories of when we played BYU in football and there were TWO missed out of bounds calls on us in that game!

Exactly! This was my reasoning for being pissed as well. We desperately needed a score and were clearly being held back from do so by a biased referee. It's like the old fool forgot this was on TV and it would be looked at a million times.
