Let’s beat SDSU

Post by ThunderAggie » January 20th, 2022, 9:28 pm

If you didn’t already hate SDSU and the show head over to their Twitter page. Man I want to beat them so bad.

I expect a Duryea type performance.

Wash, rinse, repeat. I knew we were done at half. Despite the lead.

Until 1.7 seconds, I actually thought we were finally going to be on the right side of a finish. How can this happen so many times in a row??. I have never seen anything like it. :bangwall:

The most Aggie thing ever would be a win over SDSU.. And then to follow it up with back-to-back L's to Nevada and AF.

I would love to beat SDSU, but it will be a tall order. As we continue to lose these close games the confidence our players have continues to decrease and the size of the basket opening keeps shrinking. That being said I will be in attendance cheering them on with all that i have.

I don't think they are losing confidence because they have been in every single game they have played in the conference. Every game has come down to the wire. If anything it lights a fire underneath them to work just a little bit harder in practice to win those close games.

What SDSU team shows up. Colorado St beaters or BSU Losers?

If SDSU plays like they did against Boise, USU has a chance to get a win in the game.

I would suggest that it depends on which USU team shows up but unfortunately I don't think the OOC version exists anymore. We are what we are.

I think we can beat them. We lost to 4 out of the top 5 in very close games. We are almost there!

Rebound, limit turnovers and transition baskets, make free throws, and hope for good officiating!!

If we can score more points than SDSU, I give us a decent chance. That's critical. But the main key is showing up to the game on time. The refs can call a forfeit if our team is late, so, yeah, the primary key will be showing up on time and then scoring more points.

We do those things and 9 out of 10 times will see about 55% success. I like those odds.

Florida has been known to make up stuff in regards to his sports knowledge. I’d at least question his logic here a little bit.

Nice win!

Let’s keep it rollin’ on Saturday and run off a 5 game winning streak.

Bairstow has been a revelation, and we got good minutes from Shulga and RJ too tonight.

We shouldn't get too cocky. Remember - SDSU was playing without 3 tight ends in this game.

You sure it was three tight ends? I have it on good authority that at least half their team was out with Covid
