Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
Why can’t we win a NIT game and a first game in NCAA? I don’t think I will see a NIT win in my lifetime! We just play to tense because we haven’t won. It really sucks. Last win in NIT, was with Cornell Green! Sad, just sad!

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
That in itself is an indictment on us. We need a huge talent upgrade or next season is going to be even worse.

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
Our starting point guard ending the game with zero points is a huge problem. Rylan isn’t a good player and has shown zero potential.

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
Wyoming is losing because of to many turnovers. Turnovers seem to be a problem for MWC teams that get to the big dance. Is it because the other teams their playing are so much more athletic?

5-10 guards that can’t score are expendable. Why is he getting minutes?TrueBlueAggie123 wrote:Our starting point guard ending the game with zero points is a huge problem. Rylan isn’t a good player and has shown zero potential.

His final season at utah turned out to be an unfortunate preview of what we could expect.TrueBlueAggie123 wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 9:00 pmOur starting point guard ending the game with zero points is a huge problem. Rylan isn’t a good player and has shown zero potential.

I can only shake my head when some say that trading Worster for Jones was to USU’s advantage.1TruAggie wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 9:09 pm5-10 guards that can’t score are expendable. Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
We also have to be one of the worst defensive teams I’ve ever seen. Not a single player can stay in front of their guy, and we have no one that can defend the interior. Ducks realized this and went to nothing but layups and got every single one of them.

Ya know what? I couldn’t be less interested in how Wyoming is doing in the TO department.

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
This was just a teaser game. I thought I was done watching the Aggies for the year and then the NIT invite. So I got tickets and went in for another kick in the (I can't express myself without swearing).

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
Wyoming acts scared itless! They have 20 turnovers and Maldanano has 10 of them. Wyo’s Coach just leaves him in. He dribbles way to much. How the hell did we lose to Wyoming twice? This game is just hard to watch. Today’s game has way to much dribbling!

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
We didn’t get owned in just the second half, we got owned in the Rylan Jones minutes. Both at the beginning of the game and the beginning of the half.
Just sayin’.
Just sayin’.

As I’ve been saying the mw computer rankings were better than their actual rating. Especially against big time conferences.

If it’s any consolation the Spectrum atmosphere delivered tonight. The other NIT games home crowds are/were lacking. Too bad the Ags couldn’t deliver.

The fans deserved better than the product they got in the spectrum this year. The fans did their part.FL350Aggie wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 9:41 pmIf it’s any consolation the Spectrum atmosphere delivered tonight. The other NIT games home crowds are/were lacking. Too bad the Ags couldn’t deliver.

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
Yes, more athletic, longer, stronger, and more physical.
I really don’t understand our strategy of Jones and Ashworth picking up their men at half court. Why we do this when when they can blow right past us?

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).
Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
I was in that crowd but have been proved wrong. Although Worster wasn't as promising this year, he still beat out Jones in the trade.utaggies wrote:I can only shake my head when some say that trading Worster for Jones was to USU’s advantage.1TruAggie wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 9:09 pm5-10 guards that can’t score are expendable. And count me out on Hamoda. He can't guard a chair. He has poor court vision. Fortunately he can learn those things, but I am pessimistic. I imagine his career will be like Bairstow, full of potential but never strings it together. Folks are still hoping for Sean to have a breakout year after 3 years.

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
Nah, Aggie fans are the best and they deserve a winner like they have mostly gotten for the last 20 years. We will see if odom can build one. Im excited to see the upgrade in talent he will bring in.JonnyCienPesos wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 10:11 pmThe fans got what they deserve, a team that plays hard and gives maximum effort.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote:The fans deserved better than the product they got in the spectrum this year. Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
We need the conference to show well in the postseason and after 2 games it's evident the MW wasn't as good as we all thought. P5 teams are just bigger, faster, better.

Re: Getting owned in the 2nd half
I’m not even sure our 6 seed wins. Michigan is better than Indiana and csu and Wyoming were similar. Michigan has to be feeling good about that opportunity.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 10:18 pmWe need the conference to show well in the postseason and after 2 games it's evident the MW wasn't as good as we all thought. On a side note I’d love to be matched up as a 12 seed vs st Mary’s.

Yeah dont know if any win. Creighton, memphis and michigan are all tough games.slcagg wrote: ↑March 15th, 2022, 10:19 pmI’m not even sure our 6 seed wins.
